My favorite is a carved wood bowl/bread basket I found in AK. It has a many of the tree animals carved into it in an open weave pattern. It's a long oblong/oval shape and long enough to hold a full loaf of bread. I sits on my counter everyday! Love the subtle Disney stuff!

If your leaving at 2am, you'll only have a few hours before daylight. Any of the rest stops off 95 between Philly and Baltimore are the large, heavily traveled variety with lots of people- even in the wee hours. I would hit those if needed before daybreak, and not take your chances off highway...
