That is a good question. I am guessing no because they take your picture near the gate which is near the turnstile. Now I wonder if the Disney hotels allow you to take the pictures early at the hotel. That could help save some time when the guests go to the parks

Your experience will vary depending on which line you get into. Which again is totally random. For example, a 30 second wait turns out to be 10 minutes because the 5 guests in front of you all need their pictures taken then when they get to the turnstile each person has to sign their tickets...
