I recently asked the same question because we have a breakfast reservation at the Grand at 8am but the parks don't open til 10 and we are coming from the Harbor Side. Someone said they start staffing it at 530am when Starbucks in DtD opens. I'd love to hear anyone else's experiences though.

That answers my main concern. With the rush and line at RSR for fastpasses in the morning you have no choice what your return window is. We have a late morning breakfast at 10am at Storytellers and that day will be the only day to do RSR.
