    Complaining about complaining

The line was awful on our 7/25 Alaska cruise. We had the earliest PAT and were still in line at almost 2. It was a great trip, but that was definitely the low point.

    Akershus Change

We have an ADR for lunch in October. One of my kids is 10yo. How is the pricing done now? He would be satisfied with a kids meal and the menus on the Disney site list kids meals now. I don't want to keep the ADR if I have to pay an adult price for a kid's meal.

Tower of Terror - Rider Switch

It wasn't on TOT, but we were denied Rider Switch on Test Track. We didn't think our just barely 3yo DD was tall enough, but they made her get out of the stroller and she was. We decided to take her and she hated it! Luckily it meant she was also tall enough for Soarin'!

Credit card with the best benefits/rewards

We got our Barclaycard last year when we got a new roof. There was an initial bonus for spending, then 0% on purchases for 12 or maybe 15 months and 2% rewards with a 20% bonus if they are used for travel. We paid the roof of over about 9 months and then it became our primary credit card.

    Alaskan Members Cruise 2015

We are doing the 4X4 tour in August and we have Main Dining. Do you remember what time you got back to the ship? My daughter does NOT want to miss the Frozen menu in the dining room, but our tour says it returns at 5:45 and I don't want to keep our servers waiting, either.

Skagway Takshanuk 4x4 and main dining

Our cruise is in July. I'm wondering if the menu at Beach Blanket will be the Frozen menu as well. I think arriving to the MDR more than 15 minutes late night throw off the servers. My other thought was to order the night before. Two of our kids have allergies so we have to order ahead for them...

Skagway Takshanuk 4x4 and main dining

Has anyone done this excursion and still been able to make it to the dining room for Main Dining? It is listed as lasting until 6 pm, but I hate to miss one of the menus in the dining room.

    Cozumel ruins and beach help

We did that tour in June and our stop at the beach was nice. Our kids preferred to be in the pool. We did have a drink by the pool and there was more than one bar, if I remember correctly. I think it would be difficult to stay longer and get transportation. Also, there were SO MANY mosquitos...

    Stateroom Dilemma

We are a family of 5 as well. I definitely recommend 2 connecting staterooms. For our Fantasy Western in June it was only about 10% more for 2 verandah rooms (5D) than for a family verandah and much less than any concierge room. We really appreciated the extra space and the ability to have...

OBB Procedure for booking for 2nd family

We had 2 connecting cabins on our cruise in June. We booked onboard and got 2 connecting cabins for us and another cabin for my parents. We got full OBB discounts for our 2 cabins. The third cabin did not get 10% off, but did get a 10% deposit and the $200 OBC (haven't verified this part, but...

Booked two rooms onboard to give one to family

Yes, I just wanted an extra key to open the door to my room. I don't know if the policy changed or I asked the wrong (multiple) people. We gave up at that point as we were dealing with other frustrations with the kids clubs and wanted to focus on fun.:)

Booked two rooms onboard to give one to family

I had read those reports before our trip as well. I was surprised when they said they couldn't do it, so I asked again later and got the same answer. I tried at check in and at guest services. Something about it deactivating the existing cards?

Booked two rooms onboard to give one to family

When we were on the Fantasy last week they would not give us KTTW access to both of our connecting staterooms. When it my husband's turn to explore after the kids were in bed, he had to take one of the cards for a child assigned to my room to get back in (we slept as adults in one room, kids in...

    Aquaduck question

My two who would like to ride together are 7 and 9, so the age isn't an issue. The only issue would be if a 42"-54" child 7 or older has to be with someone >54".

    Aquaduck question

Thanks. That will be a bummer. We have 3 kids who will all need an adult and only 2 adults! Creativity and extra wait times will be required!

    Aquaduck question

Can my 53" and 49" DS's ride together or does at least one rider need to be 54"?

Best purse/backpack/hip pack to carry around ship?

They make little bands to hold them together out of the same stuff as the live strong type bracelet. Your doctor may have them to give out. I don't think you can purchase them, but you could call Sanofi?

Best purse/backpack/hip pack to carry around ship?

We leave next Friday. We've flown on Southwest a number of times and been fine so far. We always pre-board and wipe everything down. Our allergic kids are 7 and 9 so they are old enough to follow the rules and not pick up stray peanuts from the floor! It is always a little scary, though...

Best purse/backpack/hip pack to carry around ship?

I'm not the OP, but my 4 Auvi-Q's are because 2 of my kids are peanut allergic. So 2 for each one. I'm actually bringing 12, I think. I will carry 4 at a time and hopefully use none of them. We are flying Southwest, so that ups the fear factor.
