Need WARM Spring Break Destination Ideas in US

Hello! I'm looking for ideas for warm places to visit during spring break in the USA (March timeframe). I was looking at Panama City FL or Gulf Shores but the historical temps say only the low 70's?!? I want it to be warm enough for the beach! We've done Orlando, San Diego, LA, and Ft Myers...

Medical billing issue-talk me down off the ledge of panic

Just wanted to chime in on your thread since we’re going through similar things. I’m not a very patient person to begin with so this whole ordeal is really going to test my patience. I agree, we have to let things play out. In my case the procedure was intended to prevent a stroke and it’s what...

Dr performed surgery deemed "investigative". Insurance Denied. Now what?

The procedure helped prevent a stroke and potentially saved my life. I will definitely appeal the decision if the provider doesn’t try appealing it themselves. I’m not sure if they do that or if it will be all on me. It’s just so frustrating. This is the last thing I want to deal with when...

Dr performed surgery deemed "investigative". Insurance Denied. Now what?

Long story short, I was hospitalized. The doctor performed a surgery that the insurance company deems "investigative" and so they have denied that portion of the claim (that specific procedure code). Now what? The surgery is done, I was not warned ahead of time that insurance wouldn't cover it...

Has anyone tried TalkSpace, the app for therapy?

Just curious if anyone has tried this and if they found it helpful. It’s so hard to get an appointment with someone in person so I was thinking about trying this.

Has anyone sent their child to LearningRx?

Great point. I've read some feedback online that they basically 'teach the test', so when the child retakes the same tests after 6 months, of course their scores jump. But I'm wondering if anyone has actually done the program and if those improved skills (memory, focus) carried over into real life.

Has anyone sent their child to LearningRx?

I have a child with ADHD and we did the assessment at LearningRx. She scored below average in a few areas (and above average in a couple). I want to do the program but the pricing is insane ($10,000) and the time commitment is huge (3-4 days a week for 6 months). Has anyone's child gone through...

    Frasier Reboot?

I don’t think the remake would be good. I thought the show as a whole became less funny once Niles and Daphne got together. I absolutely love the first 6 or 7 seasons

Red Spot on Eye Won't Go Away - Any eye doctors?

Yes, we saw the eye doctor and he prescribed steroid eye drops. The drops worked and the spot was almost completely gone. However, we went back after two weeks and the steroids had caused the pressure in her eyes to increase, which is a big risk for glaucoma. So we had to stop the drops. Then...

Does anyone here use Playstation Vue for their TV subscription?

We've had Playstation Vue for over a year now. I love the lower cost subscription price and we get all the channels that we want. HOWEVER - I have yet to find a device that has a decent user interface that is easy to use and we've had buffering issues with certain channels. We've tried Apple TV...

Is there an app to block all calls not from your contacts?

I could. The phone gets at least 2-3 calls almost daily from numbers all over the country. I guess I’m afraid that the next number might end up being the same issue. I wish you could specifically get a number that has been out of service for a year or more. I think they only use 30 days as the...

Is there an app to block all calls not from your contacts?

Yes, but it silences all text and calls, even from contacts, when phone is in lock mode.

Is there an app to block all calls not from your contacts?

Child has an iPhone and keeps getting calls for the previous owner of the phone number. I tried the DND feature but I don’t like how it silences ALL alerts when phone is locked, even from people in his contact list. I’m looking for an app that will block all calls from ringing except for his...

    Sore throat for 12 days...stumped!

I would ask about a different antibiotic. Some bacteria is resistant to amoxicillin so that could be why it’s not helping

Red Spot on Eye Won't Go Away - Any eye doctors?

I've noticed that if she doesn't swim for several days and doesn't rub it, it slowly starts to fade (kind of brownish/yellowish). Then she'll rub her eye (allergies) or use the goggles and then it's red again.

Red Spot on Eye Won't Go Away - Any eye doctors?

Aggh, you are freaking me out!! No, no bleeding or bruising issues. What do you think it could be? The soonest I could get her in for an appointment was next week.

Red Spot on Eye Won't Go Away - Any eye doctors?

My daughter has had a red spot on the white of her eyeball for a few months now. It looks like a burst blood vessel or subconjunctival hemorrhage (thanks Google!) I showed her pediatrician today during a routine exam and she disagreed with me, and said if it had been just a burst blood vessel...
