We were on the 11/30 Fantasy as well, boarding group 12 and we arrived at 11:30 am. Finally on board at 1:30 pm. It was so crazy in the DCL terminal that a woman passed out waiting. The available seating was taken up by mostly kids. People with mobility issues had to stand.

We live in CT so, NYC was so much easier for us. And less $$$.

Yes, you are correct. Not everything can be a "slow boat ride" and I am able to ride SM, BTM, EE, etc. without a problem. I think WDW is leaning toward the "thrill-seekers."
