HELP! Time Sensitive: BOG res time vs. 7D Mine Train FastPass ... Can we do both?

Thank you all for the wonderful guidance and suggestions! @beesly After much internal debate, I decided to let my kids decide. I went over our options, and though tempted by a possible Beast appearance, they voted to ride 7D and not have a sit-down meal during our MK time. Democracy in...

HELP! Time Sensitive: BOG res time vs. 7D Mine Train FastPass ... Can we do both?

Thank you all so much for the advice! Wondering... could we just order desserts at BOG instead of having dinner? Let's be honest: My 7 year old and 9 year old are going to be more interested in the sugar than the French onion soup. ;-) I'm wondering if that would help shorten our timeline...

    Disney Dining Dilema

Have you thought of TH for breakfast/brunch? My family LOVES the TH breakfast character meal. It is usually my husband's favorite meal of our trips. He especially likes the cinnamon rolls! And if you can get a before-park-opening early res, you can then go to Kilimanjaro Safaris with very...

HELP! Time Sensitive: BOG res time vs. 7D Mine Train FastPass ... Can we do both?

I need your help! I just snagged a dinner res for BOG at 4:10pm but have a 7DMine Train FP good from 4:15pm to 5:15pm. Is there anyway we can do both? Apologies if put this in the wrong section, but I thought I'd start with an audience who might have some insight into BOG. We've never been! :)

Snack credits at the Flower and Garden Fesitval

Oh... And my kids loves the candied strawberries on a skewer in China. I did too!

Snack credits at the Flower and Garden Fesitval

Here right now and took some picks of kiosk food signage. Will post when I can, but there are tons of snack credit options. Fave so far was the beef brisket. Stay away from the Carmelized peaches... Sounds delish, looks delish, but WAY too much rosemary in the cup I had. Yuck... Had to...

    Akershus Epcot

One of our favorite character meals.... DS3 and DD5 love the photos, character interaction, and food at Akershus. Only 4 days before we have dinner there again!

    Dining plan with two kids??

With 5 year old DD and 3 year old DS and a character meal at least once per day, the DDP saves us a lot of money every trip. The last 2 trips we had free dining. We paid for DDP this upcoming trip, and based on our ADRs, we'll still save over $250.

    Character dining question

Tough call... I would go with Tusker House for breakfast. (We're not fans of Chef Mickey's.) But if princesses are your thing, CRT or Akershus are both wonderful. Decide between the 2 based on budget and availability. Have fun!

    Character Meals for my son??

My DS loves CRT! He still talks about the "sword the princesses gave me"... The castle is so cool and boys get their sword and lots of sweet attention from the princesses. Garden Grill, Hollywood n Vine and Donald's Safari Breakfast are also favorites. Enjoy!

    Garden Grill or Akershus?

Akershus for sure! With the Belle photos included, it's perfect for your daughter. Our family enjoys Akershus every trip... Even 3 year old DS loves to see Belle there.

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival - FOOD!

So excited! 1st time @ F&G and we get to eat around the world too. Crab tostadas sound delicious... And so does a watermelon cocktail!

Is 50 minutes enough time to be in and out at a charcter buffet?

I'd vote for not rushing your Akershus dinner... It's one of our favorites! I couldn't imagine finishing up in only 50 minutes. As MichelleWDWfan mentions, only the appetizer portion of the meal is a buffet, you'll have to order/wait for your meal otherwise. Do show up a few minutes early...

    Hollywood and Vine

We were there for a late breakfast (around 10:30a.m.) in mid-November and it was definitely a highlight for the character interaction with my 3 year old DS and 5 year old DD. All the characters visited our table multiple times and the kids participated in several "dances" led by a CM and the...

    columbia harbor house question

Haven't had the lobster roll, but my family members are big fans of the shrimp & fish baskets. The grilled salmon/broccoli/couscous choice is also a nice change of pace for a counter service option.

    First week of March??

Thanks for the question, OP! I have my fingers crossed for good weather and low crowds the 1st week of March as well. We've never been in the spring, and we're planning a trip to celebrate my Dad's upcoming retirement. The kids can't wait to get their Nana and Papa down to Disney. :yay::yay...

    The 'I'm attending MVMCP' thread

You're very welcome! So glad you're excited about your upcoming visit... We would do MVMCP again for sure. We were there a bit over 90 minutes for 7D. I left my DH waiting in line with sleeping DD5 between 5:30 and 5:45. We were done with our 7D photos and walking away by 7:15. You sure...

    MVMCP 2012 Official Information

::yes::::yes::::yes:: to this advice! ;) With 2 little ones, we would have never made it until midnight without taking it easy during the day and squeezing in naps. Even with an easy day, by the end of MVMCP, DH and I were feeling the pain of such a long afternoon/evening... :rolleyes1...
