I’m here. We were in DCA when it began, and noticed people streaming into DCA. We are back at our hotel now, and DLR is at capacity. We have FP for RSR and DCA is still open, but sure if we are going to try going back or not, mostly I’m Worried about what the lines at bag check are going to...

I do skirts at Disneyland, but will usually wear bike shorts or leggings under them.

YAAAAAAY!!!! SO happy to be going to disneyland again! Haven't been since the last night of the 60th anniversary. We are not shy about peak visit times, so we will be there the week after xmas. I found a smoking hot deal on the Red Lion -- as in so smoking hot I'm not sure it is legit...

I've stayed at both, and would choose CCI, hands down. It is just a very pleasant hotel and the staff is very friendly.

MaiMai -- we arrived yesterday and I was also surprised that lines have been quick and, while crowded, it has not been nearly as bad as I was imagining it would be.

I was thinking about it -- I think my five year old would fall apart, although my 8 yr old could handle it. I would up reserving a grab and go for Sunday for the first show. We don't arrive on Saturday until early afternoon, so we may take our chances on Saturday evening. Good luck to you!

Do you guys think saturday or sunday would be a better bet this weekend? I'm coming solo with my kids (5 and 8) and I'm a bit worried about staking out a spot, holding on to it, managing bathroom runs, etc... but seeing the parade is a non-negotiable, so I've got to figure out a plan.

Does anyone know if there is a turnstile that is designated for people who want to sign up for jedi training to line up behind prior to rope drop? I recall this from WDW, and I'm wondering if they do it at DLR, too. I've got to say, I am so glad that they have put the sign up system in place...

So looking at the closure map more carefully, and comparing it against where I'm going to be coming from (Sheraton garden grove, on S. harbor), I think we will be ok using uber or lyft. Honestly, if they can just get us to harbor and katella, I'll be happy. I know that's not too far, but I want...

Thanks! Yes, I know it is going to be horribly busy -- we tend to only go during busy times, so I think we will survive :).

Does anyone have a link to a map of the road closures during half marathon weekend/labor day weekend? We aren't staying walking distance, and I am concerned about getting to the parks in time for rope drop. Anyone know?
