Food, Wine and Hanson – A November 2015 PTR

Just 5 days to go! Everything is planned, park tickets and plane tickets have been bought, and now we just wait. 5 days is a long time when Disney is on the other end of it! We're hoping to take some video while we're there. I know we'll be taking lots of pictures. If anyone wants to follow...

Food, Wine and Hanson – A November 2015 PTR

Dining Since this was a "last minute" trip (because 122 days is last minute for Disney) I wasn't expecting to get any of our most wanted dining reservations. I really wanted Be Our Guest and Brandon's only request was 'Ohana. Good. Luck. To make up for the lack of 'Ohana All You Can Eat Meat...

Food, Wine and Hanson – A November 2015 PTR

Ah, that's the day I'm planning to see them, too since there's EMH at Epcot that day! Maybe we'll see each other there!

Pop Century, AS Movies, or AS Sports for 1 night

I loved staying at Pop because I could walk over to AOA and eat breakfast there if I wanted. If that doesn't appeal to you, save the $25 and stay at an All Star. The room and breakfast options there are basically the same as Pop.

Let the Partying Begin-December 3-7, 2015 Pretrip Report

Looking forward to hearing about your trip! The DISPalooza sounds like a lot of fun. When I heard about it on the podcast I really wanted to go but it was full before we could agree on a date to go!

Food, Wine and Hanson – A November 2015 PTR

Hi, everyone! I'm so excited to start my very first PTR! I'm even more excited to be going back to Disney! And I'm even MOST excited to finally get to see Hanson live for the very first time! Who Are We? Who are I? Who am we? We be Sachi (me) and Brandon (him). That's our Native American...

    November 2015....The countdown begins!!

I'm so excited to see them! In 18 years I've never gotten the opportunity to see them live. The closest I got was the TX State Fair a few years ago and someone (I think Zac) got sick and they cancelled. Worst. Day. Ever. I've been trying to plan a Disney trip around their Eat to the Beat...

What Park Would You Most Likely Do Solo?

I would love to walk around Magic Kingdom on my own. There's just so much to see. Or Epcot. I could get food and drinks around the World Showcase and not have to share.

    Classmate Who Became Famous

Robert Griffin III graduated a year after me. Our paths never crossed. I didn't even know he existed until he won whatever award and everyone on Facebook started freaking out. Clearly high school football had no impact on my life.

    Thrifting Finds

I'm addicted to thrifting. The Goodwill stores in my area do $0.99 clothes days every week. I go in early and leave with a ton of great stuff. I keep what fits, sell what doesn't. I funded our upcoming trip and bought a new bed with the money I've made reselling my thrift store finds in less...

Do you sneak food into the theater?

I'll sneak in candy, but I always buy popcorn and drinks there.

What is your favorite souvenirs from WDW?

The only things I really buy are mugs since I can display them and use them everyday. I know I'll be leaving with a few mugs on my next trip since I collect the Starbucks You Are Here mugs. Hoping I can get all 4 and the Orlando mug!

What is you least expensive trip to WDW ?

Minus food, our November trip is looking to be about $1500. That's a roundtrip flight for 2 adults, 5 nights in a value resort with 4 day parkhopper tickets. So with food and souvenirs it will be around $2000. We also have a few Disney gift cards to use while we're there.

    Doing Christmas Week...I know it's crowded, I'm crazy & it's expensive...now help me out.

We did December 25, 13 - January 1, 14 and with the exception of NYE st Epcot it really wasn't as bad as expected. As long as you have your FP+ and dining reservations planned you'll have a great time! Dining reservations ended up being super important for us because they gave us a chance to get...

    November 2015....The countdown begins!!

Hoping and planning for a November 9-14 trip! Got our room booked, but we have to wait a couple of months before my husband can request leave. Super excited to see Hanson and Food & Wine! Only making a couple dining reservations for this trip. It's going to be a more laid back trip than usual.

Top things to bring into Disney Parks

A few days into our last trip I realized that I really didn't need to carry a bag with me. I used my Magic Band for everything, and my phone for taking pictures. Next time we go I'll probably leave the backpack at home. I've considered getting a very small belt bag (aka cuter version of a fanny...

Ladies - Comfort vs. Camera Ready; the FL hair dilemma!!!!

I have straight hair that doesn't frizz in the FL humidity, but it does get very flat extremely quickly! I blow dry my hair every morning to give it some volume. This usually works for a couple of hours. When we're in the parks, I'll put my hair in a high, messy bun when we're on rides or if I'm...

    Disney Vlogs

I am deep in a Disney deprivation induced funk! Watching trip videos seems to bring me out of it (and keeps me from rocking back and forth singing It's a Small World and crying), and I need some help in finding good ones. I subscribe to SeeYaReelSoon and Keith Lapinig on YouTube, and I've...
