    Your Favorite Tip!

I wish I'd figured this out sooner...my kids loved the new Donald pool on the Magic last week but it was always pretty crowded. On our last sea day, we got to the pool right when it opened at 8:30. My husband and I were able to get a good table right by the pool and have breakfast from Daisy's...

    Water Temps at CC?

We were on the 10/27 Magic sailing and I thought the water temperature was great! A little chilly right when you got in but it was easy to get used to and felt great, especially when the sun was out (we were there on a very cloudy day).

Staying at the Hyatt--should I let them handle our luggage?

I understand being nervous...we used this service on our Magic cruise last year and I was SO nervous our bags wouldn't make it to the ship. It seems like if there's a chance something can go wrong for us, it will! But of course there wasn't an issue and they made it just fine. As another poster...

Another Update for the Magic-Kids Clubs

I love how bright it looks! That was my one complaint about the kids club when we sailed on the Magic last year, it was so dark! My kids liked going after awhile but it was a little freaky for them at first.

    Special needs child?

Yes! He sounds a lot like my DD who is also 7 (brain surgery for seizures, extremely quirky speech but social and well behaved). We took our first Disney cruise last year when she was 6 and I told the CMs a little about her when I first dropped her off...they were blasé about it in the best way...

Where do i see Cabana rental

You cannot see them before your booking window opens. They are listed under Port Excursions on the day designated for Castaway Cay. It's very self-explanatory once you start the booking process. Good luck!

    Concierge on the Magic

I have only done concierge on the Magic but I loved it. Having a larger cabin was the biggest thing for us but being able to have one person fix everything and getting priority treatment for check in and boarding was nice. The daily treats to the room and game cards were nice as well as surprise...

    Concierge and extra Palo reservations

Ok great, thanks everyone! I will wait and ask when we are on board.

    Concierge and extra Palo reservations

We are sailing later this year on the Magic and have a one bedroom concierge suite booked. We did concierge last year on our first cruise and found out during dinner at Palo on the last night from our server that we could have had more Palo reservations if we'd wanted, is this true? We would...

Kids club for a 3 year old

I think its a different experience, in a good way. Certainly having experience in a day care setting or with another care giver helps but the power of Disney is really something. My kids were avid Disney Jr watchers before going on our first cruise last year, so to be surrounded by Mickey and...

Kids club for a 3 year old

My 3 year old loved the clubs and he tends to be clingy when dropping him off at new places. It is so kid centric and the CMs were great about engaging him right when he got there. I only wished we used the clubs more! He was newly potty trained at the time and had two accidents while there, it...

    Castaway Cay Private Cabanas

We had #3 on our cruise last year and I loved it! For some reason not many of the cabanas on that cruise were reserved and we really felt like we had our own private beach...after being on a crowded ship for a few days it was a welcome respite. You will be closer to the bathrooms and food which...

Potty training @ Oceaneer Club - "one-strike" rule?

My son was 3 last year in the Magic and had two accidents, one of them a horrible poop accident while in the kids club. They were very nice about it and we were not banned from coming back. The first time we just needed to get him in dry clothes and he was allowed to return immediately, the...

Should we do early dinner or late?

My kids were 6 and 3 on our first cruise and we had early seating. I thought there was no way they'd last until 8pm (and honestly no way I'd last either...I like to eat early!) but once there I realized we could have easily done second seating and it maybe would have been better. You're on...

    Halloween on board?

Thanks Bear, guess I should have done a search beforehand. ;) I do appreciate the links...looks like there will be a little something special at least. That's all I care about quite honestly. My kids like trick or treating but I should hope another Disney cruise will avoid the disappointment of...

Help Me Decide, ASAP - Decision Made!

I agree with the others. We went on our first Disney cruise last year when my kids were 6 and 3. I really wanted main seating and we got it, and then once on board I kind of wished we had done second seating. My kids are used to eating at 6:00 when we are home and going to bed at 8:00 but when...

    Halloween on board?

We just booked the 10/27/13 sailing on the Magic. The last night on board is Halloween...does anyone know what if anything they do special for Halloween? This is Pirate night if I remember correctly, I wonder if they just combine the two. My kids are already talking about the costumes they want...
