Hello from Disney world. Got in last night and yes it is hot. Went for a run this morning and for all of you looking to do the same one word Parking. The roads and trails are way to crowded but the parking lots for the parks are huge and empty in the morning a couple of laps around the big lots...

I am Staying at the GF and looking to do a 5 miler early Fri morning as well. I looked on google maps street view and the roads look very narrow and tight with traffic. Thinking I will try to make it down side roads to Fort Wilderness, looks to be some trails and lots of loops in the camp...

Not saying that 30mins is to long between stops. Just in training on my long runs with these water stops. Mile 12 was the only time I felt really thirsty and thus over drank which caused me GI problems every time. Guess I am just better off with small drinks more often than drinking lots...

On the map provided from Run Disney. Looks like a W around 9.4 and the next just before 12. puts me 25 to 30 min between water or between 7:30 and 8:00 am. Don't know how sunny or hot it will be during these miles.

My biggest concern is between mile 9 and 12. Looks like almost 2.5 miles between water stops. I programmed my garmin so I could practice my hydration based on the water stop locations. Seems like this is to long for me between water stops and I over drink at mile 12 and get bad GI issues...

I get that some times. Ice Ice Ice- four days or so and gone. I think your right - I seem to get it if I go overboard and ignore knee or hip pain.

I have no official time so entered 5:00:01 for the marathon and they put me in corral D. Does anyone know what corral the 4:00 and 4:15 pace team will be in. Or is anyone else in this corral that will be going under 4.

Yes I Put 5:10 as a time. So if I am understanding this, there is only one pace team for 4:15 not one in each corral. And If I am not in the same corral as the pace team I am out of luck or running to catch up.

I have been using the Runners World SmartCoach program. Liking it a lot. its great how you can enter all your info and it calculates a program just for you.. you can up the miles and intensity if you like on the fly. It also sends you daily email reminders of the workouts. Price is not bad...

Does anyone know how to find out were the Water/Aid stations will be on the course. How many are there and how far apart are they?
