    Cinderella Photopass Locations

It's been 7 years since our last trip to Disney World and at that time we got BEAUTIFUL pictures of Cinderella Castle from the little spot in the Rose Garden. There was always a PhotoPass photographer stationed there with a camera on a tripod and it was by far the best place to get "people free"...

    EPCOT Starbucks Mug

Does anyone know if the Starbucks Mug is available at EPCOT yet. I know they pulled the first one with the purple monorail I am trying to find out if the new one is for sale yet. Thanks!

    Celebrating a Birthday at Disney.

Let her wear the Birthday pin Everyday! We just got back from my 9 year old daughters B-day trip and I made sure she wore it everyday, very prominently. We lost count of how many people said happy birthday Ashley! Not just happy birthday, but they said her name and made sure it was special. Even...

4 Magical Days at Disney World

Our family just returned from a 4 day Military Salute ticket. We were in the parks Thursday- Sunday. My father is retired Navy and Disney is my parents special place with my girls so until they are unable to hoof it around the parks we always go with them and my single sister. Traveling with...

    Lots of BTG's!

I've never considered bad behavior something to be tolerated, just corrected. The last time we were there, my daughters had a seat on the curb waiting for the parade. A group from South America who "didn't understand English" tried to stand right in front of my 4 and 6 year old- seriously...

    Lots of BTG's!

We are going to be there Wednesday-Sunday this week. How bad are these Brazilian tour groups? I've heard while they can be large that the family groups are more civil than the groups teenagers. I have little girls that are there for the magic and I won't tolerate what I've heard are large...

No Longer Add Pre-Purchased Tickets to KTTW?

We are heading down on Wednesday and buying Military Salute tickets at Shades of Green before checking in at POFQ. I was thinking about adding the tickets to our room keys. We are splitting our tickets and using a few days now and the rest on in visit later this summer before the promo ends in...

What the heck is a Dole Whip??

I've lived in Europe and our family ate gelato every week, and daily during the summer. Gelato differs from American Ice Cream because by law in the US the product must contain at least 10% milk fat (and that's not even premium products which are pushing 20%) to be labeled as ice cream since...

What the heck is a Dole Whip??

It is identical to Pineapple Gelato- like a fresh frozen pineapple. All fruit flavors of gelato are dairy free and contain almost no fat (not fat free, only about 6% though) Not be confused with Sorbet which is on the icy side. And, since Gelato is now more popular in the US you should be able...

Dole whip sold in local yogurt store!

I eat a lot of Gelato (more than ice cream) and I think Pineapple Gelato is EXACTLY like a Dole Whip, to me at least. Give it a try sometime. All the fruit flavors of Gelato tend to taste like a fresh frozen version of the fruit. You might even like Pineapple gelato better than a Dole Whip.

Bakery News: France Bakery opens at 9am, Tomorrowland Terrace open for Breakfast

I will be one of those crazed fans hiking to "France" for breakfast at least once during our visit. However, I will say if the basic croissant is your favorite thing the Sunshine Seasons food court has them there- just like being 3,000 miles east in Paris. They are delicious and a funny...

    An Odd Request...

That makes me want to find a recording of the monorail message. They sell the Spanish language version on a t-shirt now. I don't speak Spanish, but I think it hilarious how many folks know that phrase from hearing it over and over. I imagine it's the same for those who don't speak English and...

    Les Halles Bakery Epcot/France

I am thrilled that it's finally open. Our family are going to be there next week and I was holding my breath that it would be open for business. I'm going to start with the lobster bisque, and finish with creme brullee... but I cannot decided what to have in-between, oh well I'll just have to...

Bakery News: France Bakery opens at 9am, Tomorrowland Terrace open for Breakfast

The new bakery in France is permanent and so is the early opening time- Disney Food Blog and Disney Parks Blog has information. I have been waiting for this since they announced construction back in February. I really like to eat in France! There nothing more fun foodwise than eating your...

This talk of Wristbands is endless and I just one question

Has anyone that has checked into a Disney Resort Hotel since the announcement about RFID wristbands earlier this week been given a wristband to use. They say they are starting with the resorts one at a time (or something like that) and eventually it will be resort wide. Anyone out there...

    Ordering off the Children's Menu-revisited

I think what the person meant was "oop" out of pocket, meaning they paid for the "adult" children to buy kids meals and saved the "adult" kids dining plan credits using them elsewhere so they did not "pay" for adult credits and use them on kids meals therefore sacrificing the value of the credit...

    Tell me about January....

Our daughters birthday is the 16th so we are taking her to celebrate a great 3rd grade year and 9th birthday. We driving down on Wednesday 16 and doing a 4 day military salute ticket. I will post a full weather and crowd report when we get home. I am thinking we might have more folks in the...
