Just returned from our trip 10/27 - 11/3 and I wanted to say that the new beds are pure heaven!! If I could have stuck one in my suitcase and brought it back on the plane with me I would have! We stayed in Aruba (water view) - great job on updating, rooms looked great! and these beds...:thumbsup2

I know you used to be able to get tickets up to 3 days early if you were doing a room only stay for part of your trip. Is that still possible with the magic bands? :confused3 I hope so!! If not I'm going to have to change a bunch of stuff. :scared1:

I'm doing a split stay - POFQ (room only) and then Poly with dining. We were hoping to check out at POFQ and then drive over to CM Cafe for breakfast before heading to poly to check in later in the day. Is that possible with the magic bands?

We are staying Nov 11-17. I just received a letter from them stating that "part of the beach" would be closed. They didn't specify which parts and i don't know how long construction will be but at least during our trip it will be somewhat limited access.:confused3

We've been lucky enough to get FD on our last 4 trips. This year we are going during Jersey week and chose to tweak our reservation to take advantage of the offer. 11/9 - 11/15. Room only to start (visiting Universal) and then taking advantage of the package. If FD wasn't offered - no biggy...

We use AAA. Travel arrangements are covered in the membership. You get their discount (usually around $150 for a week booking - which well exceeds their membership price ), they make all the arrangements including ADR's and there a few other perks too like preferred viewing for wishes, etc...
