We were on the same cruise, also in 2 connecting staterooms on deck 2 and our steward was fantastic. He was the most cheerful crew member we encountered. So, I don't think the lower deck was the problem. Sorry you had such a bad experience. :sad1:

Speaking of packing, does anyone have any suggestions on what to pack in an "immediate access" bag? I know we might be able to get our luggage and our rooms for a while, so I am just wondering what we should have on-hand. What do you do when you first get on the ship?
