We rent DVC point and spent $1200 for an 8 night stay at AKL. After renting DVC points for the first time, we will never go back to staying at a value resort. To me this is way worth it.

We are staying November 29 - December 7. We hope there will be lighter crowds. We usually go on crowd calendar ratings of 6-8. I know the weekend days after Thanksgiving will be heavy so we are planning on not doing parks till that Monday.

We did it last year and there was a discount for annual pass holders. It was well worth it! Just remember it will take a good amount of time out of your day but well worth it. We did the first tour available and I think we finished around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

We have never been to Cosmic Rays because we are usually by Pecos Bills around lunch time. I love the toppings bar and the fact that I can get nacho cheese on my burger and fries!

For our group it was not worth it. They do have some different items but most of the people stuck with the normal bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc. If your group will most likely eat these things then it is not worth the price. I did try the unique items and they were hit or miss.
