Are new rides open during EMH?

I know in the past with a minimum purchase one could get a special item at a reduced cost. One year we got a framed pin set, others have gotten special blankets. I will be at WDW next week and wondering if there were any deals going on and if so what they were. Thanks in advance!

For those of you that have had 5 in the rooms with the murphy beds, did you feel crowded? Was there room for the suitcases/clothes? We might be moving our trip to a different month and adding my nephew so thinking about POR.
