We're going next weekend and have bought some fastpasses off Ebay so will report back on whether we are able to use them or not.

    Disney acquiring Marvel Entertainment Inc.

Taken from the Orlando Sentinal website Iger and others announcing the deal this morning had little to say about Marvel's current arrangement with Universal Orlando, which has an entire theme-park area, Marvel Super Hero Island, dedicated to Marvel characters. Universal's contracts apparently...

Anyone ever been for just 1 week?

We did 6 nights flying out on boxing day a couple of years ago and had a fab trip. The crowds were a massive shock to the system because we normally go at quieter times of the year. We followed Tour Guide Mikes advice and where I have used him before on this particular trip his advice was...

    Manatee swim

Hi, we did a manatee swim at Crystal River last December, we booked through Gray Line tours mainly because they did the day of the week that we wanted. We got picked up in Orlando at around 6am and the drive was approx 1.5 hours to Crystal River. We went to the dive shop to get our wetsuits and...

    Virgin Online Check In Problems

We did online check in for our flight tomorrow (yipee!!) and it let us check in no probs but I went on exactly 24 hours before and it wouldn't let us change our seats. Not a big issue as we are sitting together anyway but I thought this was a bit odd.

    Floridays

I am looking at booking this property as we have stayed in the immediate area before and we will not have a car this time. The I ride trolley stops right outside for Seaworld and other I Drive attractions. It is handy for Publix and Premium Outlets and they offer a free shuttle to Disney and...

Your views on a few restaurants please

California Grill we had a lovely meal but it was more the firework view that made it special. Blue Zoo was amazzzzzzzing, really gorgeous seafood and the setting was really modern and nice. We went to Le Cellier for lunch and I would definitely return :) there are just too many places...

Which Park Would You Visit On New Years Eve!

We did MGM Studios on New Years Eve 2 years ago. Using fastpass it wasn't too bad at all. The park didn't fill to capacity although it was of course busy. On New Years day we got up eatly and did Magic Kingdom while a lot of of people were still sleeping in.

Thinking of starting to plan for 2009, am I mad?!

I'm thinking about October 2009 already as well. Am desperate to book but will just have to be patient as we're going to do New York with it. I've been over Halloween on 2 ocassions and it was my favourite time to go. You can never start planning too early, it's half the fun !!

    VH Glitch??

They rang me on Saturday morning to say the price was wrong and if I wanted to take it it would be £2400. Needless to say I declined. I really want to do NYC and Orlando anyway so no loss and I will book something later on :)

Be honest-Was this past Christmas week at WDW really terrible?

We were there from Dec 26th to Jan 1st and used Tour Guide Mike. It worked like a dream. We did not wait more than 10 minutes in line all week (except for shows) and were able to ride the thrillers more than once. There is no way I would have even attempted to do this week without Tour Guide...

TGM is you won't go at rope drop?

Yes he will work. He works better if you are there at rope drop but unless you are there at the busiest times he would still give you a lot of help.

    December Disney

We were there over New Year just gone and although we were glad to do it once (just to be there on NYE) I would choose early December every time for the lack of crowds. Congratulations by the way!

    tour guide mike

We just got back from our Christmas/New Year trip and used Tour Guide Mike for the second time. His advice is especially fantastic for the busiest times of year. We didn't wait for any rides for longer than 10 minutes and this was a week where there were 3 of the parks closed on the one day...

    Epcot on New Years Eve

We went to MGM and we loved it. The park was busy but less so than I had expected, we arrived at 6pm and were let in no problem, I also left around 11pm to get some money from the ATM just outside the main entrance and again it was no problem to get in. There were drinks carts to buy sparkling...

Just back from our Christmas Week trip

He really is the best. We have used him on both our trips this year and his little tips really do work. The best park days is fantastic, the touring plans work great, viewing points for parades and shows etc and it was more important on this trip as it was such a busy week. You find yourself...
