Need gift idea for DS heading to college program

I def agree with Vons. We went to Vons all the time. If you want fun stuff a Disney gift card would be a good idea. Fast food nearby is Mcdonalds, Taco Bell and Burger King. Both Target and Wal Mart are driving distance

WDW vets fall in love with DL

It's nice to see a WDW person give a true honest review of DLR. Although you wouldn't know it from my name, I am now and always will be a DLR person. I think for me the difference isn't the attractions, the smaller size, or the CMs. It will always be the fact that Walt walked down Main...

DLP for the most special little boy in the world!

Thank you for sharing!! Hearing stories like this always brings a smile to my face. It has always been my dream to start a foundation where I provide children with disabilities, or who come from poverty a chance to go to Disney World or Disneyland and experience it like I was able to when I...

breakfast/lunch in the Royal Palace - do you or don't you tip?

I am not entirely sure how it works. We asked our server last cruise and that is what he made it sound like. He said that when you go to lunch they ask for your stateroom so they know that you are having the breakfast or lunch, and when you tip at the end part of that goes to whoever serves...

Questions about Costuming CP and SHOW Attractions

I worked in attractions, and if you got on a show for your attraction you wouldn't be doing the backstage stuff. For LMA you would be the cast member at the entrance welcoming people in and the ones walking in the stands. For all shows, the behind the scenes cast members are part of...

breakfast/lunch in the Royal Palace - do you or don't you tip?

You will notice when you are going to breakfast or lunch they ask your stateroom number. This is so they can keep track of who has served you and they will get a share of the tip at the end of your cruise.

Which would you choose..Fairmont or Hotel Del?

I would say Hotel Del for sure. It's a great hotel. Great area. Much more relaxing than SF. It's got a great beach and its a short drive to the Gaslamp District of San Diego.

Walt disneyworld College program Or college? Worth it?

Did you decline the offer, or not respond? I don't know for sure, but I am pretty sure not giving a response makes you look pretty bad. They would rather have a no, then a no response. Also, I think you will regret the decision you made. You make your own drive. If you want to finish...

Have you ever seen one on your vacation?

When I was working at DLR I saw a bunch. Here are a few: Tina Fey Whoopie Goldberg Cast of Scrubs Nicholas Cage and Wife with Son Dog the Bounty Hunter and Family Cast of one of those dance movies. I had no clue, found out after I drove them on my Submarine

    Fall 2012 Professional Internships

What makes you think they have hundreds of positions open? I am pretty sure there are not that many available PI positions. It is not the same as regular CP. It is more of an as need basis.

    The Best Thing About Epcot...

I know what they were talking about... I was simply answering the question of "Where else can you build a roller coaster then hop in a pod and ride it?" Answer is Disney Quest :)

Please Put Epcot Out Of Its Misery!

I'm not saying EPCOT now is how Walt wanted it. I am saying there are parts of it that are, but turning it into a thrill park would be going completely against the original plan. That is all I am saying.

Please Put Epcot Out Of Its Misery!

No one is forcing you to go. If you hate it so much you can stay at home and you won't be missed. There are plenty of people who still enjoy it the way it is. Sure it could use some upgrades, but saying "take it out of it's misery" is a bit extreme.
