    Bringing groceries on plane

I was wondering if anyone had any success with bringing groceries in a carry on and their experiences. How much were you able to get with you? Was it worth the hassle? What did you bring? How much did you spend on the groceries you brought with versus how much it would have cost in the...

Best Ice Cream at WDW - Opinions?

Hi! It's almost a tradition that my family gets ice cream when we go on vacation and I was just wondering what the best place to have a unique experience was in WDW. Whether it's huge portions, interesting flavors, or just something memorable. This can be in any of the parks or in downtown...

Late June/early July visit - how crowded?

Saturday (as a weekend day) will probably be pretty crowded. Add in Carsland and the fact that crowds have already been higher than expected this year, and you may need to plan for some wait time in the parks. On past trips in late June/early July, the parks were not too terrible in the early...

Visiting on 6/15 - how crowded will it be?

I would say DCA will be a mad house. Maybe DL won't be too bad in the morning, but I think crowds will try to escape the Carsland madness towards DL in the afternoon. I am wishing you the best of luck with the crowds!!!

Poll- most overated and underated rides in disneyland?

Most overrated? Definitely Roger Rabbit over in Toontown. I really did not find that worth it's hype. Most underrated? Maybe not a ride, but it was the Animation Academy in DCA. This was one of the coolest experiences we had at the resort. Definitely deserves more credit!

I'm sure this is a super obvious question..water in the park?

Free water cups were available at all the quick service dining places we encountered. The cups were small, but it was always ice cold and very refreshing. We had no problem getting the cups, even getting them when we did not purchase any food.

    Surrounding area restraunt deals???

The McDonald's across the street has some sort of 10% off your meal coupon. It's not first class dining, but it's sure cheap!

Hungry Bear Restaurant and regular fries

I thought the sweet pot. fries were alright, but I thought they were kind of small in comparison to the reg. fries portion. Golden Horseshoe has really amazing chili cheese fries and is not too far away that I highly recommend :thumbsup2

Better to go on a Sat in June than a grad nite/day? Any good days in June?

Just got back from a week full of grad nights at DL. It really was not too bad and we did not even notice the teens arriving until about 5:00 pm. They were a little rowdy, but most of them just hit the thrill rides. It certainly was not a terrible crowd though they sure weren't low! I would...

    Lunch and Golden Horseshoe?

We went earlier this week for an afternoon show. Actually, we did not eat there but just sat and enjoyed the show. I would plan to be there at least a half hour early to ensure a good seat. Luckily we caught the last balcony seats at and we saw that a lot of folks had to stand that did not make...

Ramada convention center vs travle lodge

All I can think of what my mom always says "for every bad review you find, there are ten good ones that liked it. Customer usually only contact you back if they are unhappy." Just a thought

    Space Mt ??

Well, Space Mountain is an indoor, dark coaster with dips and turns and motion. Probably not the best if you are sensitive to motion sickness  I would not recommend it for a 5 year old because it's rather intense and meant for an older crowd. It's dark and fast. Plus, you need to be 40"...

    Help Please

If you are planning on dining at the Rainforest Cafe, be sure you get reservations (call restaurant directly, not Disney Dining) before your trip. Downtown Disney stays open pretty late with the parks so you will have plenty of time to look around after 8:30. Again, be sure to call for...

    Need your suggestions

I would personally go with the original plan. I would prefer to avoid grad nights so having the 22 as a full day seems favorable to me.

How bad is Ramada at Anaheim Convention Center

I called the Ramada at the Convention Center earlier today and they commented that they have been doing a remodeling project to the rooms (done by floor) for the past couple months. They only construct/remodel during to day to avoid interfering with guests sleeping. This leads me to conclude...

5/15/12 - Crowds are Heavy; Lines are Long

Well, I guess we can agree that Disney is anything but predictable! :) Hopefully, the rudeness doesn't carry through the summer!
