We're big UO fans too. We went to Disney two weeks ago and although we had a good time, it made me miss Universal. :lmao: Vacation at an onsite resort at UO is so relaxing and fun, while Disney feels like so much hassle and hustle and bustle. Wait for a bus...wait for a parking tram...fold...

We just got back yesterday and we loved it too! My husband said it was our smoothest Disney trip ever. I loved getting to book in advance and not run all over the park to get FPs. :goodvibes We also got a FP fpr Be Our Guest at lunch and that was great too.

I'm not sure about the silver pass, but the complimentary tickets are for anyone to use. I worked for Disney in college and they used to give out 2, plus number of children you have, tickets every year in July and December. For example, if you have 2 kids, your husband will get 4 tickets...

I prefer khaki type fabric shorts for theme parks. I find denim shorts too thick and hot for the summer. :)

I've stayed at all 4 and the Port Orleans resorts are my favorites - I love both. I liked Coronado and CB, but I love both PO resorts. Having the boat ride to DTD is an added bonus as well.
