    Universal In, Disney Out.

We're big UO fans too. We went to Disney two weeks ago and although we had a good time, it made me miss Universal. :lmao: Vacation at an onsite resort at UO is so relaxing and fun, while Disney feels like so much hassle and hustle and bustle. Wait for a bus...wait for a parking tram...fold...

Just got back - Loved FP+ and Magic Bands

We just got back yesterday and we loved it too! My husband said it was our smoothest Disney trip ever. I loved getting to book in advance and not run all over the park to get FPs. :goodvibes We also got a FP fpr Be Our Guest at lunch and that was great too.

    Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

We just used our FP (from the link here - no email invite) on Friday with no problems. It was awesome! I'm so glad I read about it here. We all loved the food too. :goodvibes

    CM Silver Pass

I'm not sure about the silver pass, but the complimentary tickets are for anyone to use. I worked for Disney in college and they used to give out 2, plus number of children you have, tickets every year in July and December. For example, if you have 2 kids, your husband will get 4 tickets...

What is a Mom to wear in the summer?

I prefer khaki type fabric shorts for theme parks. I find denim shorts too thick and hot for the summer. :)

What is your Favorite Moderate Disney Resort??

I've stayed at all 4 and the Port Orleans resorts are my favorites - I love both. I liked Coronado and CB, but I love both PO resorts. Having the boat ride to DTD is an added bonus as well.

    Fl Resident Tickets

Thank you for the info! We are staying at Ft. Wilderness so we were planning to take the boat to the MK. I am hoping to bypass the Ticket and Transportation Center completely - is there are ticket window right at the MK? I recall seeing a Guest Services window - can we do it there...

    Fl Resident Tickets

I have a related question. I am a FL resident and I bought some FL resident tickets and got my vouchers in the mail. We are going to the MK first - can I just present my vouchers at the turnstiles or do I have to trade them in at ticket booths first? We will have our IDs either way. Thank...

    CSR vs CBR?

I've stayed at both. I liked both. I prefer the rooms at CSR, but I prefer the pool and food court at CBR. The rooms at CBR are pretty dated, but they are the biggest rooms at any moderate. My family loved the rest of the CBR resort. The pool area is really nice and we liked the "Caribbean...

    My first roller coaster ride..maybe

I hate roller coasters in general, but I like BTMRR. I think it would be a great one to try. :goodvibes

? on the rehab at CBR

I loved the CBR resort in general, but hated the rooms so this is great news. The rehab pictures looked beautiful!

Seven Dwarfs Dedication and MK crowds

May 2nd is our only MK day so I am pretty bummed about this.

    Liberty Tree Tavern?

My family loves the LTT dinner. It is really good food- good rolls, good turkey, good sides and cobbler for dessert I believe. It's my DH's favorite. :goodvibes

Who else is cutting their days at Disney and adding Universal

This totally! :goodvibes I haven't actually used Fast Pass+ yet (our trip is in 3 weeks) but being a planner by nature, I have liked planning our FPs ahead of time and I hope I will like it when we are there. :)

Who else is cutting their days at Disney and adding Universal

I have stayed at the Universal onsite hotels numerous times and the average we pay per night is $130-$150. It is not in "everyone's" budget but it is well below what Disney charges for their Deluxe resorts. I love the Universal hotels so much that I would stay at them even without the...

Who else is cutting their days at Disney and adding Universal

We usually stay onsite at Universal in October but hit a MNSSHP. It's a great way to have a touch of Disney. :goodvibes

Who else is cutting their days at Disney and adding Universal

We switched from spending most days at Disney to most days at Universal a few years ago. The lower costs of the onsite hotels combined with the unlimited fast passes, make Universal a much more relaxing vacation for us. I also love that Universal is truly a car/bus free vacation. The...

Can the 3 day Discover Disney tickets be upgraded?

We bought the 3 day Discover Disney tickets for DS's first WDW trip and I was wondering if we can upgrade them to FL resident seasonal passes if we have a great time on our trip. Does anyone know? I know there are payment plans for the FL resident passes now - can you still use the payment...
