I just returned from seeing the train today with a friend. It was really a great, "Daily dose of Disney" as she says! There were actual writings of Dickens displayed under glass that a student might be interested in seeing. The best part of the whole thing was getting a glimpse of how they...
Cranbiz (or anyone in the know)
If I want to get from AK to MGM/Disney Studios on a bus, how do I do that?
I don't remember there being park to park buses.
Help, please!:confused3
I'm going at the end of this month for my 40th! A friend is moving to Hong Kong and we planned this last minute trip - the DH and DDs are staying at home - and are they bummed!
We are staying at AKL since I don't think I would stay there with the DH and DDs since they are all partial to GF...
Thanks for the email address! I was the person who posted the Orlando Sentinel article last week. I really think this is a mistake on their part.
Here is the email I just sent:
Dear Ms. Kline,
As a frequent guest at the Walt Disney World Resort, particularly the deluxe resorts, and as a...
Sorry - meant to ask if anyone knows where we send letters/emails. I posted this last week on another post and am really disappointed by the news.
Thanks.
As the OP, I appreciate everyone for providing information regarding this issue. I, for one, have always had good experiences with the valet and bell cast members. In fact, some of our best experiences at WDW have been due to the work of these folks. Bellman86, you all are in my thoughts!
We stayed at the WL for our 15th anny. I requested a king when I made the ressie and then again when we checked in. We had to wait several hours for the room (no biggie for us) but they were able to give us a king. It was a wheel chair accessible (sp?) room and it was great. Good luck :wizard:
I am very disappointed by the news that Disney is outsourcing the resort bell, valet, and baggage service cast members. It was reported in the Orlando Sentinel. See the link below:

When we spoke with the concierge prior to our trip - they called and/or emailed us - we let them know of my DD's birthday. They asked who her favorite character was and on the actual day they had balloons, a photo card from her fav character and some chocolates in our room.
Have fun!
It was quite a shock to my husband and I when we got to the Poly for our honeymoon (17 years ago today! :lovestruc ) and we couldn't get a king size bed!
We have stayed in the WL in a king room and it was quite nice. The room we were in was also a wheelchair access room (I don't know if...
We added someone four days prior to arrival last May (we were on the dining plan). I think I remember the TA tell me that it had to be done prior to arrival - but I'm not 100%.
Have fun!
