So, as far as anyone knows there are no school breaks for October, except for a day or two?

The first year, we went the first week. The second year, we went the last 4 or 5 days in October and the first 3 days of November. Last year, we went the last week of October, arriving home a day or two before Halloween. The last two trips we've gone to MNSSHP.

We're taking our DD, DSIL, and 2 grandkids (ages 3 & 5) to WDW in October. I have been to WDW 3 times in October (different weeks) and it seemed that the last trip was the busiest of the three. Does anyone know any weeks that may be busier because of school breaks that we might want to avoid...

I was going off memory. It didn't seem that long when we drove it 5 years ago. But we suspect we will be driving it more often because the fares from Wichita to MCO vs TPA is about $60 round trip. Take that $60 x 3 or more people and that adds up.

So...the master BR only has a queen size bed??? I might stay there once to let the grandkids have the experience, but I prefer the king size in the other DVC resorts.

We love it that AirTran goes through Atlanta. We always make sure that we have enough of a layover to eat at Moe's Southwestern Grill. Love that place. Either the quesadilla or the enchalada. "Welcome to Moe's".

LD sounds like my guide. She used to be in Florida but they transferred her to California. But I still bought an add on at WDW through her in California. I really like her, too.

When we went last summer there were two and we heard that the other one was having some renovations done, so there probably only is one now. We stayed at the Loew's Regency last summer. It was nice, but not particularly "Disney-nice".
