    Photos of Guest Decorated Windows

These are all so cute! We're newbies going to stay at OKW in October 2012 (not that I know the window sizes there), and I feel inspired. This will be a first trip to WDW for over half of us and I want to make it as magical as possible. I was wondering where you go to get clinging vinyl to cut...

    Grandpa vs. sofa bed

We're now booked into OKW. My MIL was uncomfortable with the share a room idea, but had a similar suggestion. We will use a raised comfort smart air bed. While we were never about to place a child on a bed before my Dad or MIL, my wife and I were focused more on the room assignments than...

What Percentage of your take home pay goes to your mortgage?

We sit around 18% of our net pay. But, we get paid every two weeks so every 6 months we get 3 paychecks in the month. If I average the paychecks out, though, then we are around 15%. I know lots of folks who are way above that and in nicer homes but I do not envy them for one second. Good...

It's Official: Disney Has Posted TT Refurb on Official Calendar, updated with photo

So maybe I'm just the odd duck (mouse) out here but TT is not one of my favorite rides within WDW. Not even top 10. I can't even give you a good reason why it isn't - I just was never that impressed with it. Having said that, I hope it is open for our trip in October because I do want to take...

    Best resorts for running??

When I stayed at BW for a convention a few years back, I loved running around the board walk. I had to start my run sometime after 10:00 PM, though, so I didn't get funny looks dodging people while running through the crowds. I was always worried that someone might think I had done some...

    510+ points for rent

I would be interested in either BCV or BLT for Oct 10-21 for a 2 room villa. Would that work? Thanks!

    Grandpa vs. sofa bed

No no. Don't know if I could handle my MIL being my mother. Ha ha! (That really did make me laugh...) Looking like I am going to wind up with the queen sofa sleeper with my wife. Uggh. We will likely bring an air mattress and put it on top of the sleeper and hope neither one of us rolls...

    Grandpa vs. sofa bed

Well, the hope was that being a deluxe resort and all, they would have decent couch beds. But, from the sounds of it, even WDW isn't posh on that end of things. We want to get the 2 room villa but I can't quite figure out why they don't have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom - seems like a...

    Grandpa vs. sofa bed

We are planning our visit to WDW this October and we are inviting my dad (Grandpa to the kids) along for the trip. We are considering staying the BCV but he would wind up sleeping on the couch bed (my MIL is also coming and she gets the queen bed). I have slept on couch beds before and there...

OMG -- Definitely Don't Want To Use CC Anymore!

I use Quicken and use the synch feature at least once a day. Quicken attaches to my bank and to my CC (AMEX) and downloads all transactions which makes it very easy to make sure all the bills are paid. Very handy stuff...

    Newbie (to DISboards)

Hello, y'all! After having deprived my family for the past 7 years of a family vacation, we are going to Disney World in Oct 2012! We are finalizing where to get ADRs and should be making our first ADR within the next week. As for where to stay, we are trying to decide between Bay Lake Tower...
