    Still locked down this fall?

I'm trying not to speculate too much about when this will end. Everything is shifting so much on a day-to-day basis that being as flexible as possible, and having as few expectations as possible, is working best for me. I tell you what, though, whenever this does end I am going to WDW :earsgirl:

    Where Are You Going First?

I'm throwing my grandma a huge birthday party when this was all over, and then I'm booking my trip to Indonesia! It was supposed to be in June, but now it's on hold till this is over. My light at the end of the tunnel is hugging my grandma, and then taking a trip to see Komodo dragons in the wild!

Sole Vets, What was the best Solo thing you did?

My favorite thing about being solo in the parks is the total lack of pressure. I don't need to be on anyone else's schedule or worry about anyone's wants or needs except my own. I can go at my own pace, do my favorite rides, everything is exactly the way I want it. What surprised me most was...

    BOG QS Lunch Pre Order

Correct. It's more or less open season at BOG at lunch, so if you find a table that seats all of you, that's fine. You won't get seated by a cast member, so it's up to you to find the best seating arrangement for your group.

    Dining advice for MK

Columbia Harbour House for quick service & the Plaza for table service. Very good food at both places, and a good variety of options. Plaza also has all-you-care-to-enjoy milkshakes, so.............

Which WDW resorts do you think offer the best value for your money?

+1 to Coronado Springs! I'm very frugal so for me, I think Pop is the best value at Disney, BUT if you are looking for more deluxe amenities, Coronado is a great value! Good restaurants, shopping, a gym, a spa, pool, lovely waterfront walks and courtyards...I loved it!

Satu'li Canteen... Are the Bowls Hot or Cold?

Hot and delicious! There is indoor seating with AC, but this is a very popular restaurant so depending on the time of year indoor seating can get very crowded and hard to snag a table.

    Current info on Skipper's Canteen?

I cannot recommend Skipper Canteen enough! I was there earlier this month for the first time, and now it's a must-do on every trip from now on. I had the Thai noodles, and I eat a lot of Thai food but this really stood out as excellent. PLUS: pao de queijo!!! If that's not enough of a selling...

    **September 2019**

Same! We were there 9/2-9/8, and it was my friend's first trip to Disney and I had to keep telling her "it will never be like this again, please don't expect crowds this low every trip" lol! We did all the big ticket rides multiple times each day (we're talking SDD 5x in one day, Splash & Space...

    **September 2019**

Hi everyone, just thought I'd say that I got back from my trip last night (arrived September 2, so right in the face of Dorian) and it was the best trip EVER. Parks closed early one day, but there was seriously no one in the parks the whole time I was there. Everything was a walk-on: we're...

    **September 2019**

Ohhh boy. Dorian is looking worse and worse by the minute. I'm flying in Friday morning, so I think I'll be okay, but my friend is flying in Monday morning 😭 on Spirit, so I doubt they'll give her a waiver or anything to move her flight. Should we go ahead and bump her flight up to Sunday? Play...

Did you get a confirmation email that your Magic Band order was received? We got our bands nearly a month before our arrival date. I didn't upgrade mine, so I had a similar issue where I'd place my order and get a confirmation email, but then if I went to look at my plans there was still an...

8 days till my Disney trip! I have way too much excited energy about it, plus all the D23 announcements, so I'm here checking in to see how everyone else is handling their excitement as September rapidly approaches!

D23 Expo 2019 (First page with major info)

It's not my intention to point fingers, only to express concern that there is currently a lot of political tension surrounding the rainforest in Brazil, and I'm worried that if Disney announces a Brazil pavilion right now it will drag Disney into it and cause a lot of politically charged...

D23 Expo 2019 (First page with major info)

Is anyone else deeply concerned that they're going to announce a Brazil pavilion? I keep seeing rumors that they'll be announcing a Brazil pavilion on Sunday, but with the rainforest on fire and the Brazilian government blaming NGOs (and possibly encouraging loggers and farmers to clear that...

    All Star Movies Renovations

I'm checking in on September 2, booked a standard room, requested the Love Bug area. What do y'all think are my odds of getting a renovated room? I'm trying not to take it for granted but this thread is making me think it's incredibly likely.

Disney will know the time changed because they have your flight number, but when you check in you can always make sure.
