    Weather forecast not looking good

Actually a lot of us didn't have a choice about it. We already had this cruise booked to sail the middle of NOV , but Disney changed and sail date and put us in hurricane season. If we wanted to keep 2 days in CC at the same price this was only option.

    Dream Concierge

Hopefully they bring them back. I don't want to deal with 10 of your family visiting , because everybody couldnt afford a room. I don't want to do deal with your FE hitting me on the shoulder walking down the hall. The gates were one of the few things on the DCL that allowed private spaces for...

Do you ever pay full price for concierge?

Add me to the list of always paying in full for concierge. On a side note I would like too see Disney move to a system that many airlines are moving too. Not all booking classes are available for upgrade , if any at all. Meaning if you booked one of the cheapest categories thats what you...

    Limo service to/from Port

USAChauffer is the best. Their "sedans" are Mercedes S550s and BMW 745s. There's no such thing as a Lincoln town car for them. They also have executive model SUVs such as Escalades and Denali's. Pricing is "out the door" , meaning they don't add extra fee's or automatically include tip. You tip...

Can anyone reccommend a limo service

Well fear not! They have an executive passenger van that I used with my family a couple months ago. It has 9 individual leather seats that each recline. Also a 20' flat screen tv to watch your favorite Disney movie on as you drive to the port.

Can anyone reccommend a limo service

USAChauffer is the best. Their "sedans" are Mercedes S550s and BMW 745s. There's no such thing as a Lincoln town car for them. For a party of 5 they have executive model SUVs such as Escalades and Denali's. Pricing is "out the door" , meaning they don't add extra fee's or automatically include...

    Cruise magnets - concierge doors

+1. I agree as well. Please don’t ruin these nice hallways with tacky magnets and stuff all over the doors.

3 Night Dream Cruise Itinerary Change ?

So let me start out by saying that I swore that I was not going to do this, but that time has come and gone. I know that it is still 2 weeks out but there is a little disturbance off the coast of Africa that is projected to be off the cost of FL right around the time my 3 night Dream cruise...

    Tipping concierge

+1. Great Post. I have sailed 3x on the Dream in concierge. The staff was great , but I have failed to find a reason to leave $50 or $100 for them to just do their jobs. I'm not going to give somebody money just because.

Anyone going on the Dream in September?

    The Infamous 'Gates"!!

Dreams please do yourself a favor and look up the word Hyperbole. Also see below. On a side note I am curious to see how the people that hate “The Gates” feel about hmmmm…. lets say the First Class section on an airplane or a VIP check lounge in a hotel? I will say this again as I did...

    The Infamous 'Gates"!!

Actually justmestace the line…. " for those of us who enjoy a strong separation of classes and keeping those third class passengers locked up in the bottom of the ship. " of course that was a hyperbole. Instead of taking small sections of all of my post and using them together out of...

    The Infamous 'Gates"!!

I find it nothing short of ironic that in one sentence you say you would hate to share concierge space with people who want privacy, but then you go on to say how much the suites cost on the old ship cost and how they are so much better. Hmmmm…… People standing in front of your door may not...

    The Infamous 'Gates"!!

Absolutely Not. On the 4 Dream cruises I have been on there is always a group trying to go see the Walt or Roy suite or take pictures in front of the sign, or stare into the lounge. Disney has decided to separate the suites and concierge level on the new boats and I applaud them for it. As...

    The Infamous 'Gates"!!

I love the gates. Not only does it help with kids in the hallways that shouldn't be there. It also keeps those lookie-loos out of the hallways as well.

CC Cabana with no water front?

Thanks for the info everybody. Looks like # 8 is a great spot too.

CC Cabana with no water front?

I have always got a Cabana on the adult beach so water front access is always close by. On my next trip I will be brining some younger family members along so I need a Cabana on the family beach. Reading some reviews people are saying some of the higher # units are not water front in the...

    FE with Concierge suite

To elaborate on my point the times I have seen people do it or heard it in the hallway it has always been a large group of people (5 or 6) moving together. They stand there for 5 + minutes hanging whatever and then rearranging etc making jokes and being loud. Also when coming out of the...

    FE with Concierge suite

I for one like the gates. There is nothing more obnoxious than something hanging by a door, on a door or the people blocking the hallways trying to hang it. I guess I much like Guest Services just don’t get the whole FE thing.

    Reprhased second Palo visit question

Are you cruising concierge? My experience has been however many times u want Palo or Remy brunch or dinner they can make it work. On both of the 4 night cruises I have done on the Dream I did 2 nights at Palo , one at Remy and the brunch.
