    Worst WDW Food Experience

With out a doubt the Coral Reef was the worst dinning experience we ever had at any of the Disney World restaurants. The wait staff not only gave poor service, but was rude. We have never run into anything that came close to the dinning experience we received there. I know that we will never eat...

First time to Disneyworld...Help?(PLEASE READ 21, MY PLAN AND ADVISE!)

We live in Florida and have always gone to WDW. We have been taking our girls (twins) since they were two. Last summer we decided to take them to DL for their thirteenth birthday. Having done both, I feel that you would really be missing out if you do not see MK. If nothing else, the castles are...

    Can't believe it!

We make a list of things to pack. That way we can add to it as time to leave grows near. Then we check off each item on the list as they get packed. Don't forget items that seem obvious. One time we had everything packed and forgot our tickets.

    Leaving Saturday...weather concern

We have been having even more rain than usual here in Florida, but you should always expect some rain and be pleasantly surprised if it does not rain. All the advise above is correct, but I would also suggest that you bring shoes that will not be damaged by getting wet and an extra pair just in...

I could be wrong, but I thought that the SP has some blackout days that don't happen with the AP.

    abuse of the GAC

I am in total agreement with you. I also use a GAC for what you call an "Invisible Condition". I have a considerable amount of arthritis in my back and neck. Walking is not usually to much of a problem but, standing can be quite painful, even after I take several pain pills. We make sure that...

Will Teacher's Day in October Ruin Trip Plan?

I can not speak for the other counties in the state, but here in St. Johns, Friday the 25th. is a Teachers Planning Day. All of the kids will be out of school. I am not sure if this is statewide or not. We are not planning to head down there, but many of my girls friends are. Some are going...

    So how hot is it?

I will use your scale (hot, HOT, and Inferno). Here in Florida we do not reach Inferno until we are well into triple digit temps. HOT is high nineties. To be just hot, it is just low nineties. For the most part, we are just hot. For this time of the year things are not bad at all.

    Epcot or Hollywood Studios?

Normally I would recommend Epcot. Instead I am going to say HS because of the time of the year that you will be there. The Osborne Lights should be up and running at that time. WDW is never as beautiful to see as when all the Christmas lights are up. When you in MK make sure that you get a...

    Which resort for solo trip?

We usually prefer POP Century, but any of those would be just fine. I would strongly suggest that you choose one on the grounds. Even though you have a vehicle, use Disney transportation. That would be the safest way to enjoy your stay. Nowhere is absolutely safe, but you really minimize you...

    HELP! Pop or AOA LM?

I am totally surprised at the responses that you received to your question. When I read it I thought that I would be the odd man out. I was pleasantly surprised that I totally agree with what everybody is telling you. We have stayed at many of the hotels at WDW and came to the decision that it...

Taking the Plunge - Our first Disney Trip!

At Hollywood Studios we try to always take the Starwars ride at Star Tours, and the Toy Story ride. As far as shows, we usually take in the Muppets 3-D show, andt he American Idol show. The Great Movie ride is fun also. As far as meals we usually eat at the ABC Commissary. I am sure that you...

Here near the World Golf Village they are starting to come on strong. I got a whole windshield full of them today. Most likely Orlando is not far behind.

    Disney New Year's Week

We have gone to WDW at almost all times of the year. One of those times was during the first week of January. We decided to never do that again. You have crowds all year long, but nothing like the first two weeks of the year. While we were there we talked to one of the CMs about it. He told us...

Are you worried about exposure to electromagnetic radiation?

I think that you are in more danger of skin cancer from sun exposure than you are from any kind of exposure to the RFID chips.

    On or Off Park?

I believe that you will find that your vacation will be much more worry free staying on the grounds at WDW. It is so much easier to simply walk to the shuttle stop an go to any park that you wish to go to. We stay at the Pop Century most of the time. We always drive to WDW since we are only a...

Hello :) new here and looking for help

It is just my opinion, but I would opt for going in December. To me WDW is the most beautiful when all of the Christmas lights are up. I know that some may not agree, but the Christmas lights add to the magic. There is nothing to compare to seeing the Castle at night with all the lights on. All...
