I had a similar situation last year for FD. What ended up happening is that normal reservations agent couldn't take off extra nights. I asked to speak to customer service manager. She was able to take off extra nights and keep FD. Don't be shy about asking for next level managers.

Im glad i have stayed in both sections. But, Bayou was our favorite. Walking to breakfast there are bridges, ponds with wildlife, trees were flowering when we were there.

I had 5 QS credits left on my last day. I bought lunches for 5 people at POR food court. It was nice to make someone else's day magical with FD credits. One family was from Wales, which was also cool.

We have 2 waterpark days on our next trip. We have cabanas reserved at both TL and BB. I read that the TL cabanas have a lightning rod and are storm safe. What happens at BB if there's lightning? Are you allowed to stay at your cabana?

I just made reservations for a fishing excursion and umbrella rental. The CM told me I can enter the reservation numbers into MDE, and they will show up in itinerary. I see where to enter hotel and dining reservation numbers but not recreation. Anybody know how to do it?

Its just simply, guest relations personnel can see more on their end of the reservations system.

Dont be afraid to ask to speak to "Guest Relations" if the initial CRO agent cant get you what you want. On our upcoming Sept-Oct trip, web showed no availability. I called and CRO agent saw no availability. I asked to speak guest relations, she got me POR for 11 nights with free dining.

My dad and I called reservations and they modified reservation from 10 nights to 5 nights. Easy as 1,2,3. Same reservation number and kept the FD. After reading the replys, i was kind of scared for them. But it all worked out perfect.
