I didn't say it was the most homogenous society in the world. I said it was more homogenous than the US along with less poverty. Scandinavian and European countries such as Switzerland(which has far easier access to guns) are far more homogenous and overall cohesive and have lower crime rates...

The UK is smaller and more homogenous than the US with lower poverty rate. It also has a higher crime rate than other countries with less restrictive gun laws. Gun control is clearly not the driving factor behind crime rates, socioeconomic factors are.
