Unfortunately it's not just for Toy Story. Rider Swap is supposed to work like this at every attraction. The first group must go through the standby line and then the other party can reenter. One group has to do the wait time. It should be enforced at most attractions.
It is true that Universal will pay their employees for missing their shift through the storm and Disneyndoes not. My son is full time and works at Universal and yes he was paid for Sunday and Monday even though the parks were closed. My daughter who works for Disney does not. She will be...
We moved from Colorado. I am originally from Texas and the weather here is not that much different. I must admit I love living here and I really can't imagine moving back to Texas or Colorado.
I moved here knowing that things like that happen. You can't be close to Disney and not expect to hear the fireworks testing. When I hear the fireworks going off in the middle of the night, I get excited lol.
We had a wonderful time in Pandora. Our preview time was from 6-8 and they let us in around 4:55. I highly recommend getting in line early. We were in line around 4:25 and we were pretty close to the front, but the line behind us was extremely long.
FOP was fantastic! Our fast pass time was...
Hello neighbor! I am right down the street from you. Sounds like we moved to the Winter Garden area around the same time. I have been here for a year and a half and I really love it. I'm glad for this opportunity and I hope that you and your family enjoy it here!
We are at the Hard Rock Hotel. We just moved to the Orlando area last year and had never been through a hurricane before. Tried Disney, they were booked so I booked here. When I had the chance to really think about it best decision I could have made as both my kids work for Universal and one of...
We used out fast passes today when it finally opened around 5:40. Ours was for 6:10 and the supervisor told us to go in anyway. We were disappointed and we are huge disney fans. Huge to where we live in Windermere and sometimes go 3 times a week when we are not busy. The biggest disappointment...
I know the employees just received a message allowing them to try out Kong first (preview was yesterday). There is only a short period of time for the employees to try out the ride. My kids both said with such a short window, they will just wait until it either soft opens or opens to the general...
They are testing without a clue to when they are opening. From what I understand still a lot to be done with the ride, queue, landscaping, training, hiring etc.
Once I downloaded the app for my iPad, I have reservations for everything. Two days of the Jungle Book in a row, May 29 and 30th. My family all works at different times so this way everyone can see the show. Also have Soaring booked for June 23rd and it should be the new show.
My son has finally been pulled for the Hulk ride as he applied way back in Feb for full time employment. He's leaving Rocket and he has said that no date has been set for the opening of Hulk so it really is a waiting game.
I remember doing e-ride nights. It was so much fun to have a pretty empty park and being able to do all of the rides. However at the current price I'm not interested. I guess I'll just have to use my AP and go more often.
We did it 3 months ago. We moved from Texas to Colorado. Stayed in Colorado for 6 1/2 years and then I was done. My oldest son had graduated and my daughter was starting her junior year. We all looked at each other and we were like we were done with the snow, mountain etc., and didn't want to go...
