trick or treat candy at mnsshp

It's a good mix of different kinds of candy. Stop at City Hall before trick or treat anyway. in 2014 we were able to choose from a page of different candies with the allergens listed to make sure we had items that were safe. sarah at "gluten free dairy free wdw" had a great recap and shows...

    Gluten Free at Universal

I ate mostly at the hotel. We stayed club level at RPR and the staff in the lounge was amazing! I had yummy GF oatmeal cookies and an beautiful fruit plate one day. I was so excited that butterbeer was GF. And it's awesome! Mythos had GF options, but not much I actually wanted to eat...

Access to club level lounge on check-in and check-out day for one-night stay?

Our room keys did not work after checkout time to get up to the club lounge. A few minutes at the front desk and that was fixed, no problem. We had breakfast on our first day and stayed for drinks and appetizers for dinner on our second day.

    Ordering off Childs Menu

I have done it paying OOP at quick service locations. No questions asked at All Star Sports. The kids combo breakfast was a great deal. Drink, mickey waffle, bacon, and grapes. It was enough for breakfast and I saved the grapes for a snack later.

    Early Park Admission

My review of stopping for Despicable Me first: We did early entry and took the time for Despicable Me before heading to Diagon Alley. Totally worth it! We were on the first ride of the day and done fairly quickly. We had the time to watch the video in the "living room" where you get your...

What is your favorite meal choice at....

Off your list, I've only been to Tony's. 4 adults were there in October and we all enjoyed our meals. we had Chicken Parm, Lasagna (maybe lasagna rolls?), penne with broccoli and mushrooms, and a gluten free pasta with shrimp and asparagus. The pistachio creme brulee was amazing! It's a...

    Club Level RP Gluten free?

Yes, if they know about it in advance, they can provide GF options. I was only a few months GF when we went in October, so I didn't know how to ask for what I needed. The staff in the club was friendly and helpful. I asked about options when we arrived and they were able to get me GF...

Royal Pacific club lounge snack time pics

For breakfast earlier this month, I didn't take photos. But I remember: hard boiled eggs bagels (and toasters) fresh cut fruit OJ, apple juice coffee, tea milk and cereal and the most amazing cinnamon rolls with the best ever cream cheese icing!! Seriously, as good as those cinnamon...

    Hoop-Dee Doo Musical Revue

That sums it up well. Go hungry, they gave me a large amount of food! I got my own family sized portion of dessert. I love strawberry shortcake, so I was OK with that. What ruined it for me was the travel time required to get there.

    And then I cried........

Thanks for sharing! Your experience makes me want to cry and I wasn't there! I am usually made to feel like I am being difficult when I eat out at home. Or I try to find something I can eat without saying anything and hope it's ok. We will be in Disney in October for my first allergy...

    what's your budget weakness?

Me too! But it's totally worth it. Sometimes I have to ask myself "would I rather spend this $ at Disney?" Most of the time, the answer is YES! The joy I get from a Disney trip outweighs the daily splurges I gave up.

"Ok, we'll humor Mom and meet the princesses..."

I enjoyed reading your trip report. Thanks for taking the time to write it and share with us all! I'm amazed at how much you were able to get done. Also, your family is adorable.

    Salmon on property

On a 9 day trip, I had salmon 5 times! Seriously. I love salmon so much and most of my family does not. I enjoyed the salmon at Columbia Harbor House and Yak and Yeti the most. But I've never been to Artist Point. I'll be looking into getting ADR there for my next trip though!

Is there anything to "plan" for food and wine?

I have to agree with JennyDrake. You can spend a lot of money very easily at F&W. A little of this, a little of that, a drink or two, and some dessert all adds up fast! Plan on sharing so you can try a bigger variety. And have fun!

Question for people with Disney Visa...

I've gotten the 10% discount everywhere in the parks that I spend more than $50. And I always try to lump all my shopping together at one store to get that discount! I have a trip coming up and (I think) in a recent email from Disney, they suggested several times to bring my Disney Visa and...

    Feet Pain ---

Good luck finding what helps you best. Foot pain can really take away your enjoyment of many things. I have plantar fasciitis. I keep golf balls in the freezer to roll my feet on, similar to the frozen water bottle. Regular calf stretches are a huge help.

Calling all Princesses! (2014 Princess Half Marathon Weekend)- thread #2

Laura428, I don't have a suggestion for capris. But have you thought about getting a race belt of some kind? I run with a fuel belt and it's great for me and my needs. There's a small pouch to hold goodies, 2 holsters with water bottles, and some little elastic loops for gels/gus. My iphone...
