    Automated monorail

Tokyo Disneyland has a automated Monorail system so it wouldn't surprise me if WDW changed over as the technology has been around a long time.

Time to say goodbye to a terrible show and parade!

I would be quite surprised if the very next day there is not a new parade in its place. The only Disney park without a daily parade is EPCOT so I am fairly sure there will be some sort of new parade. They are too popular.

What is your Disney shameful secret?

Crashed a Jungle Cruise boat when I was 13. I was allowed to "steer" and when they let me try to bring it into the dock I went too fast a slammed the back of the boat in front of me. Pretty sure the Cast member that let me drive got an earful that night.

    Castaway Cay Excursions

With your girls ages you really don't NEED to book an excursion unless you just want to. There is a fabulous water play area with two slides that are a blast. Have some fun just hunting for shells on the beach. Your girls will have fun whether you spend the money or not. Castaway Cay is fabulous.

    Celebrating Honeymoon On DCL

The servers at your table will usually bring out a small cake to help you celebrate. As for thing to do that don't cost much money, try renting bikes and riding around the island. You can take your time and enjoy. Be sure to go off the landing strip to the observation tower as you can get...

How far in advance do you book a cruise ?

As far as possible. the closer it gets to the sailing date and based on what rooms they have left, the price may go up. Your deposit will be fully refunded as long as you cancel within Disney guidelines. Check the Disney Crusie web site for full information.

    "Spending Money"

My wife and I have gone onboard and our entire charges for the cruise were less than 300 for the whole thing. If you have will power and are not looking for any of the "extras" (photos, alcoholic drinks, gifts, shirts, excursions) what you spent for the cruise is what you will pay. Just remember...

    cruise vs parks

My wife and I used to come down to Disney twice a year every year to the parks until we took our first Disney cruise. We were hooked and now our only vacation is on the cruise ships. The reason? Come in, unpack and just relax and enjoy. Yes there will be some lines but nothing like at the parks.

Just bought my first non-entry level dSLR. Thoughts?

Definitely consider investing in a good tripod (if you haven't already) if you are looking to get fireworks photos at Disney. Shooting handheld will be very difficult.

    Best place to film Wishes

I found the best place to film Wishes is on the bridge just after Casey's Corner, right in the center of the street. The bridge will give you a little elevation above the heads of other Guest standing in front of you.

    April 8, 2013 - Disney Wonder

Have no fear. A LOT of my friends are Gay or Lesbian and have never had an issue on board the Disney ships. Neither he (nor you) will have a miserable time. It should be just the opposite.

Anyone out there remember the Disney Institute? (Now Saratoga Springs) Now that was Disney for adults. I miss that place even now.
