Its never taken us more then 5-6 minutes from the Fiji end to the TT&C. Resort is more compact then it looks. Also agree Ohana take out is fabulous! We do love the atmosphere at Ohana but once when one of our party was under the weather we did this, and it was great. Lots of food.

While I'd never say never, discounts on VWL are very hard to come buy. Low inventory plus high demand equals no discounts! We're DVC and AP holders & have yet to get an AP discount on VWL for dates we wanted, or book a room for more than 2 nights there with points.

If you booked a CL room then yes, they can check for you. No guarantees, but if its available, they will do the legwork for you! Speaking of CL - anyone there now that has seen the progress of the refurb?

Yes you can still see Wishes from the Poly beach. However, they are also checking room keys & you must be a resort guest to watch. I don't know that they're strictly enforcing this at this time, they did it once out of 3 nights we went down to the beach when we styaed there last month...

You're over-thinking for May 30th! Historically, I don't think a park has ever closed on May 30th. July 4th, Easter Day, Christmas Day, NY Eve & sporadically between those last 2, but never May 30th! No worries!

Very doubtful. Last I saw Tikiman & WDW said it would be closing in July 2014 & not re-opening until spring 2015. Even with a delay, I think October 2014 will see it closed. :(
