Can I mobile food order on my way to park?

You can mobile order on the way. You pick a time slot, place the order, then when your time comes up and you are close to the restaurant you ordered at, tell it you are there and they’ll get the order going. Most places ask you to stay close and wait outside while they make your food, esp if...

    Surface Pro....

You'll need a wireless adapter and your projector has to have an hdmi and USB port. https://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/support/music-photos-and-video/wireless-display-adapter?os=windows-10&=undefined It's pretty great. Works really well if you have a smart tv. Edit: thanks for the...

    Surface Pro....

A bit off topic but do you have a dock for your surface and if so, which one? I have a pro 4 and am looking for a dock for it so I can easily connect to my printer and document camera. I like my pro 4. I use it in my classroom and can connect wirelessly to my projector and write with the...

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

Nope. It's not been covered up. There is plenty of evidence of the challenges we face here in OK. You truly have no idea what is going on in my state. We are pretty much dead last in nearly every educational measure (or darn close to it). The politicians know, there have been anti-education...

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

Your post assumes that our politicians don't know how bad it is. They do the $250 is a deduction, not a tax credit. So I get to deduct $250 from my gross income on my taxes, but I don't get the full $250 back. I just don't have to pay federal taxes on that money. Me? I'd rather have the...

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

Our admin has actually bought clothing and food for students in need, paid college application or AP testing fees, supplied coffee and snacks for staff meetings, etc. Supported fundraisers by buying whatever it is the kids are selling. not to mention that they were all teachers at one point so...

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

Conveniently you left out the part where they spend more per pupil at the lower secondary level. For reference, per pupil in OK is around $7900 right now, although it may be less for next year. I haven't seen the final budget numbers for 2017-18. Lowest in the nation. And lower than Finland.

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

Exactly how cheap do you think a year's supply of paper, pencils, graph paper and calculators for 100+ students is? Toner for a year? It costs hundreds of dollars. I buy the cheapest supplies I can, but it adds up really fast when you multiply by 30 or so.

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

Alright, I'll bite. I spent $500 last year out of my own pocket. Here's what I bought. Lessons off of a site called teachers pay teachers because my textbooks were so out of date that they didn't cover our new standards. Note that this is not the fault of my district, the state forced new...

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

You clearly have no clue how education funding in Oklahoma (or most states) works, so I'll break it down for you. First, oklahoma school funding is primarily controlled by the state legislature. It's on a per pupil basis and there is a formula so that all districts get roughly the same amount...

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

I teach chemistry. My budget for all labs and supplies for the year is $200. That's it. It's impossible to stay within that budget and be remotely effective. My colleagues who don't teach science get even less. I can't exactly have students buy their own chemicals, glassware (because it...

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

$35k for a teacher with 12 yrs experience is way low compared to the national average (or even the regional average). It may be a decent salary in some places, but she's not being paid what she deserves, not by a long shot.

Teacher Panhandles to raise money for school supplies

I actually make less than $35k since I don't have as many years in. Teachers in OK start at $31,600. And our teachers do bolt for other states. We have a huge teacher shortage here, it's reached crisis point. They've issued thousands of emergency certificates over the past couple of years...

    A Few Universal Questions

The visuals. The bats scared the crap out of her. And it was just too dark, loud, intense for her. She does scare fairly easily. She didn't like the Mummy at all either because it was dark and scary (her words). We saw several other younger kids who were fine with it.

Kong scared my 7 year old pretty badly. She hated it. I wouldn't recommend it for small kids.

It feels good to love the darkside, just back thoughts.

We used Uber to transfer and it was great. So easy, much cheaper than a shuttle. Renting a car can get expensive because you will have to pay for parking at universal. We took an UberXL (4 ppl and luggage meant we needed a larger vehicle) and it cost around $30 (not including tip).

***Official*** Pandora: The World of Avatar Information Thread

We just left the shop and they were completely out. No word on when they will have more. On a side note, it really hasn't been too terrible today. Crowded, but not unbearable. We rode NRJ with about a 20-30 min wait this am, then used a fast pass on FOP. Waits on FOP were 110 min at 1 pm...

    Lubbock,TX

There's remote, and then there is west Texas remote. Lubbock is far from anything. It's flat, brown, and there are no trees. I have family and friends in midland, which is about a 2 hr drive to Lubbock. There isn't much of anything between the 2.
