We made it here yesterday. Got checked in and got the loop we requested. Today we went to sea world and got drenched but had fun. Waiting for the water parade and fireworks.

We just drove by and it's under construction but yes the pumps looked to be open. We filled up in Tifton GA and with our extra tank we have plenty to make it. Disel was 2.18 at the Murphys there.

We left this morning at 5am. We are now almost to our campground for the night in Alabama. From there we will leave tomorrow morning and it is a short 8 hours from there to the fort. After what will be 14 today 8 seems simple.

We are checking in tomorrow too....left this morning at 5am stopping for the night and getting back on the road in morning. Safe travels!

We are booked the 6th to the 12th. I requested 1100 loop. 4 park days and 1 SeaWorld day for us. Driving from Wisconsin. This is our 2nd fort trip.

Thank you....we aren't worried about being close to anything and after looking at the videos it seems very spaced out and that's what we like. I'll let you know if we get it.

Hi everyone. We are getting close to our departure date and I'm able to do online check in now. What are your thoughts and concerns about loop 1100. We watched you tube videos and like the looks of it. I need insider opinons of likes and dislikes.

We were there in September 2011 and we lost power while we were in parks. They called our cell phones to let us know and then called us when it came back on. They were doing repairs in the loop we were in. I think it was out for 3 hours. At least they give you a heads up.

Will they still give you a card to use in the parks associated with your room if you ask? We want to use magic bands for everything but purchases. We want to charge everything to a card then pay cash at checkout. Hope this makes sense.

We set up camp one time thinking we had water on the site....nope. We had to hook back up and go fill our tanks. That sucked and was embarrassing! We looked like rookies.

Never mind. Thats isn't off of the interstate we will be on.

We stayed at koa north of Atlanta and they let us pull in after hours so hoping this one might too.

Did they have gates blocking entry after hours. We're not sure what time we would arrive if we stayed there.

I love being out side with everyone else now! I was always inside making dinner watching then thur the window. Bummer not having the propane line....that will make you mad.

I was wondering is there are restrictions about using outdoor kitchens on the T.T? Can we use not only the grill part but the 3 burner stove? Thanks

This will be our second trip to the fort :) We went in September last time too....and thats why we are doing it again because the crowds were great and weather was just like July in Wisconsin so we didn't feel to hot. And if its snowing by the time we have to go home we'll just stay! ;)
