    When was Fantasmic last updated?

We last saw it in 2003. Should we see it again if we are going next week?

...And I'm confused....Is Harry Potter at Universal or IOA?

Is there only one ride in Harry Potter World (besides the train?)

Besides the train, is there only one ride in Harry Potter World? Then shops and restaurants? I am a Disney-holic who would love to go to the world of Harry Potter but trying to weigh whether it is worth it to give up a day at WDW

S.O.S. We planned a trip 6 days before arrival! We're crazy and need your help! T minus 3 days!!!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one doing last minute planning.... I am planning to rely upon the app. It helped me a great deal last time I went as far as getting to rides with the least wait. Dinner ressies are a different thing...

    ***Official Jan 2018 Thread****

I haven't been on the boards in a loooooooong time. Now doing the happy dance as I approach a short trip --leveraging a business trip to sneak in the parks! I only have a couple weeks and have no ressies or tix yet! :scared:

How do you get your souvenirs home?

We shipped a toy rifle home and had some issues with it getting lost etc. After several rounds of emailing scans of our receipt etc. I believe we finally got it but it was a hassle. Wish my son hadn't fixated on it.

Have you changed when you go to Orlando due to increasing crowds?

I always try to go when crowds are lower but I would say if your schedule isn't flexible enough to allow that, it's all in the attitude. If you go expecting to get on fewer rides or to see fewer attractions you won't be upset as much. Plus you can go just to absorb the ambiance!

Help me plan out our week long wdw trip!

On the "break between parks" part, I would say, don't underestimate how exhausting it is on your kids. If you can prep them by taking walks before the trip so they are ready for a lot of walking that would be great. (even if you plan to use a stroller). Also don't underestimate how much kids...

Please help, last min trip, so overwhelmed!

Hopefully I won't make you more confused, but I have to weigh in.... I found that Epcot was the least favorite of my children's when young. Also, at the ages of your kids if you go there, you would need a double stroller. It is so large and they get tired. I agree that park hopping is more...

    Jan vs Dec

I would just say too that if you compare either month (except the week of Christmas to New Years of course), it is better than the summer in regard to crowds and weather. We went in mid-January (I ran the marathon) and there were lots of Brazilians but I found that rather fun. And we've found...

Advice for those of you with Nov/Dec trips booked

Great thread. The plus side to Nov/Dec is the crowds are manageable (except for holidays per se) and that the weather is NOT so hot you get grumpy. the downside is the unpredictability. It is hard to pack more stuff but smart. If you are from the north, you may not need the layers. If you...

What if I am flexible on my reservation time?

I really do try to look through rules, policies, etc. before posting this kind of question, but I only have so many hours in a day :) I just want a reservation for CRT (Cinderella's Royal Table). I don't care what time of day it is. I am always asked for a specific time. When I call (versus...

Tell me about your 1st WDW vacation, please.

Mine was in 1991. I did not know to plan very much and luckily back then you didn't really have to. At least I didn't feel like I missed out on anything. I was just thrilled to be there. I was in my late 20's. My husband had been there when he was about 16 or so. We stayed at Carribbean...

Disney World with a 16 month old

The only other thing I would add is that if going to WDW is a huge financial stress for your family, then plan carefully when to go based on your child's age (i.e. wait until she is older). If you can afford to go again in the future, then by all means, go. She will not remember it but it...

Odd number for CRT on Dec 9?

I have been trying to read all the "rules of this forum" and I really hope I am not breaking any rules. It's not my style. I will be by myself on Wed., Dec 9 at Magic Kingdom and would love to get into CRT at ANY time. Is there anyone out there with a reservation with an odd number of...

"If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme." September 2015 TR

It warms my heart to see young families' reports at MK. My profile pic was from 2003! My daughter has finished college and is engaged and my sons are in college! We loved WDW!
