Well you cant go wrong with the activities you have chosen. There is soo much to do at Aulani, that you will not get bored easy. The real question is, if you leave the resort, what would you like to do? You have plenty of time to decide. If you want to share some of your interests, I can try...

    Best price for Aulani?

Topsy, I would advise renting points as well! I live 5 minutes away, and people here ask the same question. A Studio, standard view on 29 June is 22 points. If you can find $12 a point, that's $264 a night .

Going to Aulani -- Let's list places to eat

Don't drive to the North Shore during peak traffic hours from Aulani! That being said, I would guess at 45 minutes travel time from Aulani to Haleiwa. I don't eat breakfast out there though... That would require me to get out of my bed Way too early :-)

    Visiting Aulani as non-guest?

My wife and I live here in Kapolei, about 5 minutes from Aulani. We pop over to the resort for dinner frequently. They welcome that. Make sure to catch a storytelling at the fire pit!

Who will be at Aulani 11/10-11/17???

Ah, we'll in that case, I would say you need a spa day... But they are probably making all kinds of noise right there by the spa. May be worth it to walk across the street and check out the spa at the Marriott, may be quieter and more relaxing

Who will be at Aulani 11/10-11/17???

Wow! Thats quite a long stay! Well for that long, I would suggest that you rely on groceries for your meals, as eating on the resort will get spendy after that many days! My wife and I love eating there, but when we are staying on points, we put the kids in Aunti's PLayhouse, and enjoy...

    Aulani in December, retired military

Does anyone know how the grocery prices on the base in Hawaii compare to the grocery prices out in town? Grocery prices at the Pearl Harbor or Hickham will be cheaper by far! Taxes out here off base raise prices, plus Matson has to get their take :-) Shop on base (Navy NEX is by the...
