We were just there Friday on the Fantasy. The skies were blue the temp was about 82. The water was warm I thought, I was in there most of the day. I stayed there as long as I could and had a great time.

Maybe a dumb queston but if you have the land side on the way down to the Carribean won't the other side of the ship have the land side on the way back? So would it really matter?

I bring a carry on and a back pack with me on the bus to go on the boat. I bring stuff I will need till my bag shows up in the room. Stuff like bathing suit, towel, cameras, sun screen, sweat shirt, etc.

It's all good. Disney does this every week. You will get a letter either at check in or the day before your cruise that will explain everything you need to do. Including what time you should be in the lobby for pickup and what you need to do with your bags.

We just put them out the night before and picked them up at the port when we got off the ship and wheeled them to the bus, took the bust to the airport, took them off the bus at the airport and checked them in with Delta ourselves at the airport. It is $35 per person each way and it is DCL transportation. Magical Express only runs from resorts to MCO and MCO to resorts it is free. Magical Express doesn't go to or from port. The 1pm flight should be fine if using DCL transportation.

After reading your post my wife told me to check it out. She really wants to do an Alaskan cruise. The NCL Pearl Suites are going for $2800 per person for the June Alaska cruise and Disney is going for $2900 for two people for an inside room. Am I doing something wrong?

Probably going to try Holland next year because of the itinerary. We have done all the Disney Carribean cruises. They need to change up their itineraries a little more. Holland does a 10 day Fort Lauderdale, Half Moon Cay, Aruba, Caracao, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Fort Lauderdale.
