Hey, heading to DL at the end of the week and would love to know how you handled DCA! Your DL day worked out so well :). By chance did you have time to throw the details together?

What are your favorite must have snacks?

French Toast Loaf from the MK bakery ... soooo yummy!! I made it at home from the online recipe and it turned out pretty close. You have to get it early in the day though b/c we have tried at times and there has been none left :(.

    Coral Reef Restaurant - Diver/menu - Discontinued for 2009

I think that you could set it up anytime - maybe the earlier the better to be sure you have it.

    Coral Reef Restaurant - Diver/menu - Discontinued for 2009

We were at the Coral Reef on January 6th and I had arranged with Debbi to have personalized menus for the 5 children in our group as well as a banner with the diver. I asked her about the possibility of a cost being involved now or in the future and she said there were no plans for that...

Disney Store in Bayshore - Anyone Work There?

I don't believe they do (at least here in Ottawa) as I have tried to get them before. If you are staying on property though, they sell them right at the counter in the shop at the resort and they are about $6.

Disney Store in Bayshore - Anyone Work There?

I live in Ottawa and I didn't know that the Disney store left Rideau for those reasons. Actually, I am appalled at the comments in the article that state that Ottawa has some of the [highest educated people in the country and Disney may be passé for them]. I can vouch for the fact that in our...

    Not to be missed snacks?

We LOVE the French toast loaf freshly made from the Main Street Bakery. It was posted on a thread a few years ago and we tried it and it is amazing - hot, warm, and cinnamon-y! However, it sells out quickly so last time we were there we weren't able to get any. As for the others - yes...

    Wheat and Milk Allergies??

I feel SO much better to hear these great comments about how they handle food restrictions. Thank you so much for posting!! My daughter is so excited about the possibilities. I wasn't going to bother to contact the chefs early but I think I will so they can prepare. I imagine it will be even...

    Wheat and Milk Allergies??

Hi; Just this year, my daughter has been put onto a wheat, milk, and soy free diet due to ulcerative colitis. I have read a few reviews on allears.net for special diets. I was wondering if anyone on this boards has had experience with special diets at WDW. I have made several ps and...

    WL or GF???

We stayed at the WL a few years ago and while we loved the grounds, we did find the transportation a little annoying. The buses often come to the WL and then head on to Fort Wilderness before going out to the parks. They may have changed this though. It is certainly not a huge downside...

Are 1900 Parke Faire PS's hard to get?

I booked two weeks ago for next week (only 3 weeks out) and I got a 9:30 for breakfast. Not the best time but it was open. They had seatings around that time every day. I agree with the rest though, book as early as you can so you can get the exact time you want!

    Hi Everyone !

Welocme to the boards! They are addictive. Once I start reading, I am here for a while!

    sci-fi ?

I think all of the views from the cars would be good because the screen is HUGE (just like a drive-in) - dancing hot dogs and all! the Unofficial Guidebook that I swear by has some pretty nasty reviews of this place but we love it. It is so unique. The food is okay but the whole experience is...

Dis Meet in Ottawa ? Wanna come too?

I enjoyed meeting with Wenabre, her daughter Katdb, and Fayew on Sunday ... so fun to put a face to these boards. We had a great time chatting about Disney ... it never ceases to spark some excitement. Of course, I left with a few good tips (and 2 pins for my daughters). Thank you again...

What is YOUR favorite, cant be missed, best ever meal at WDW?

On a thread last year many, many people mentioned this one .... Sci Fi Diner. We went with my brother and his family (who had never been in over 11 visits to the wrold) and it was so much FUN! The food is okay (we thought it was good but not fine dining) but it is the experience of sitting...

What does Disney do for Easter?

I just realized that we will be there over Easter weekend and was wondering if there is anything special going on at the parks/resorts?

What are snacks or food items that you won't dare miss at DW?

Two different ideas: There was a thread like this one at this time last year and I took the suggestion of many to try the "french toast loaf" at the Main Street Bakery. It really is like French toast in a loaf - hot, soft full of cinnamon - like they took many pieces of French toast and...
