Eastern cruise in Dec./ Rough seas?

Hello, We are thinking about doing the Eastern cruise this December, but I am concerned about the first two days at sea. We cruised twice on the Wonder and I have had a hard time the first night, even with the Bonamine. But as soon as we stopped in Nassau I was okay for the rest of the...

    Another weather question!

Hi all, We've been to Disney quite often and at different times of the year (March, September, June, August and December). This time, we are thinking of going mid-November. I was wondering if chances are that it will still be warm at this time of the year. Last year we went from Dec. 13 to...

    What's in for the summer?

Hi, Does anyone know if there will be any special deals for Canadians this summer? I've read about the Summer Dream Maker Package, but I'm wondering if I should book our stay before April 17 or wait for something more interesting to come after that date?

    Carnival Destiny, anyone?

After two wonderful cruises on the Wonder, we are thinking of cheating on our true love... Why? Because the itinerary of the Carnival Destiny is really interesting - San Juan, St. Thomas, Martinique, Barbados and Aruba. But, after cruising with Disney, we are not so sure that we would enjoy...

    March break/03-airfare-what did you pay

Debbie, We went to WDW with Air Canada (Tango) last March and paid $2,200 for the airfaire (direct flight from Montreal to Orlando) for two adults and two children. The sooner you make your reservations the better the price. We booked our flight in September 2002. Hope this helps!

Info and advice, please -- "People were sick on board"

We were on the Wonder last week and one of us got pretty sick from what seemed to be the Norwalk virus despite the INSANE hand washing and the Purell. My opinion is that there is nothing you can do about it. You catch it or you don't.

How bad are side effects of patches?

Just like zacsmom I used them on my honeymoon and spent the first three days in the cabin, sick like I had never been before. And it was an inside cabin, yerk! I waited 14 years to cruise again and was on the Wonder last August and again last week. I took Bonine and put on the sea bands both...

Has anyone used the fitness center onboard?

I did. I took all the aerobic classes that were given on the 4-day cruise on the Wonder. I really enjoyed them... great way to start the day and end the afternoon! I highly recommend them. It's a good idea to register after boarding because the class is very small.

San, you are right, there is an age restriction at Palo; one must be 18 or over. zurgswife : When I went to Palo with my husband in August, we had to pay the $5 fee. Of course, the tip also adds up, but we thought that it was worth it. However, I wouldn't do Palo every nite because you still...

Just back after 6 days--no green ribbons!

Okay, I have to ask... What's the deal with the green/lime ribbon? Does wearing one mean that you are a DVC member, a Disney fan, or else? I am not a DVC member, but I certainly am a DIS fan... I guess that I'll have to get myself a green ribbon before my 8th time at WDW in three weeks! Can't...
