Thank you both for your quick reply. It's funny how something as simple as a self serve ice cream station can create so many memories but the daily afternoon ice cream break was one of the highlights of our last cruise - it turned into a big game as my dad would try to sneak off with my daughter!

My DS (11-will be 12 in August) would love to "meet" another boy his age before the cruise! My DD has become pen pals with a girl her age and my son wants to do this also.

We have actually booked the sea lion encounter at Blue Lagoon - we definitely want to spend time at the beach after the encounter, but I can't find anything with regards to cost. I know there is a Blue Lagoon Beach Day- does the sea lion/dolphin encounter include the use of the chairs...

The FE group is like a Secret Santa...you basically leave gifts for other participants in their Fish Extender. An actual Fish Extender hangs from the "fish" outside the stateroom. There are some great threads that explain it in depth, provide instructions for making a FE and give ideas on gifts.

Just saw where you are from...we are from Martin, TN...we were just in Chattanooga last weekend! My husband and I both work for UT Martin. It is great to know another Tennesseean will be on the cruise!

From what I have read, they select a club when you register them and they cannot change. They have been several comments that indicate they ca participate in the open house activities of any club as long as an adult is with them...I think I have that right! This has all changed since we went...

If they are out and about a lot then he probably would enjoy the Edge more...when you look at the description of the Edge, it reads as if it is more of a space for the kids to hang out and play electronics...that is not as appealing to my son ( or me) as active play. I definitely plan to let...
