Which Stroller Company Would You Use and Why?

+1 for Magic Strollers. Same people who operate Owner's Locker. No problems so them so far and if there were I'm confident they'd make it right promptly.

VERY Late Arrival - what would you do?

Are you on DDP? If you do a split stay your dining plan credits from the first night won't carry over to the subsequent days. FWIW, I have a very similar situation: I'll be doing work at a client site in NC the week before, and the client is glad to send me to MCO because it's cheaper than...

    EPCOT - renovations??....in the news......

If not better by Tuesday, will do. I used to be the CIO in a group ortho practice and while I wasn't clinical, a lot of stuff seeped in by osmosis and gaba was one of 'em. Started some 'roids today and that has made the biggest improvement. And now, back to our regularly scheduled program...

    WORST DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE

No, but in their defense, after I had the "poison" I left my family to finish dinner while I went to First Aid to get some Benedryl. By the time I got there I needed much more than just a few pink pills.

    EPCOT - renovations??....in the news......

I think Burbank is more concerned with tangible, immediate ROI. For example, new DVC resorts are fantastic for the bottom line. The sell, bring in large amounts of immediate revenue, direct recurring revenue (I for one do not buy DVC's assertion that Maintenance Fees at (for example AK) only...

    WORST DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE

San Angel Inn - told them I was allergic to cilantro. My dinner had it anyways. They tried to argue with me that it didn't. But the EpiPen worked, Reedy Creek ambulance was there fast, and Celebration has a really nice ER.

BC Bus Service...what's it like during peak time?

It's not for everyone, but we walk to Epcot, boat to DHS, and monorail via Epcot when we're at BC. Only bus for DAK and that's not common. If we hit DTD, it's usually a taxi because we have a specific reason (and time) for going. So, there's an option if you're so inclined.

Online check-in or interaction at the front desk?

DS8 and DD12 would launch a revolt if they didn't get to watch the "retro" cartoons in the lobby. I told them they aren't retro because I watched them as a kid. To which DS8 says "You had color then?" Grr. But it does calm them down after being keyed up from the airport.

How can you save data during your trip?

Be aware, the parks WiFi does block certain "high bandwidth" sites - for example, (at one time) the App Store. Which really stinks when it's MDE you're trying to "purchase" and download. Also blocks access to Windows Update and the Apple equivalent.

    WDW resort going forward

There has been concern expressed on the part of Florida lawmakers if another company could be trusted with the Reedy Creek Improvement District the way Disney has. Quite frankly, with Comcast's reputation of not really giving darn about their (cable) customers, I'm not sure they could be...

Theme park employees caught in sex stings

I'm on the fence about this one - I think no matter how hard Disney tries, bad apples are going to get in. There's a balance between the secrecy needed to protect security processes and the public's desire to understand how their children are being protected. I'd like to see a slight...

    Coral Reef

+1. Our family has always enjoyed it. The spots closest to the tank are "two tops" so if you're going as a family you might need to set expectations with the little ones that you might not be right on the 'glass.' Sometimes my DS7 gets a bit cranky because he wants to be closer. If you...

    best deluxe resort

I'm partial to Beach Club. EPCOT is our family's favorite park and the lack of lines at the International Gateway entrance is a real plus. We also like the Storm Along Bay pool. Breakfast at Captains Grille is nice tradition and DD11 goes berserk for Yachtman's Steakhouse. Then again, when...

Comcast is going to cream Disney

My outlook is "skeptical." For these reasons: According to Yahoo! Finance, about 30% of DIS stock is held by mutual funds and institutional investors. Looking over the names of the firms, it appears they're investing in DIS as an "income" investment, not a "growth" investment. In other...

Disney Erased All my FP+ and Won't Reinstate Them

Ah. I thought it was a RO based on what other posters were saying. In any case, there should be a migration tool available to CMs to preserve the FPs and re-associate them with the new itinerary. But from what others are saying it doesn't appear there is one.

Disney Erased All my FP+ and Won't Reinstate Them

No one probably cares, but I'll inconvenience a few million electrons and photons. When you book room only, you're dealing with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts (WDPR). When you add dining, airfare, ground, etc you're now dealing with Walt Disney Travel Company (WDTC). They have completely...

If DVC gave you an option..

I'll echo what others have said. In round figures, an annual pass is $600 / 12 months = $50 per month. Assuming no up front balloon payment, I can see people scheming "Well, we're here for 7 days and that's (about) $300, but if I do an annual I can just pay $50 and skip paying the rest! Mega...

    Brazilian Tour Groups

I had intended the post to be a shout out to the tour group operators (and the teenagers in these groups). I see where you're coming from though and I'm sorry if you were offended. I know American teens have their shortcomings - see the many posts about Pop Warner on these boards. And...
