Elf on shelf, fun ideas but how to live around him?

Our kids clean up after our Elf, Elmer, every morning. They jump out of bed, find Elmer, laugh, then we clean up his mess. Then we return him to the bookshelf next to his book!

Any one have an order from amazon delivered to resort?

You would address it to the resort address, care of your name. 1251 Riverside Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL, 32830. In the special notes section on Amazon, I would write your name and check in date. Maybe something like "Hold for Guest Name arriving 9/1/13". I wouldn't have the resort hold your...

    Least favorite resort and why..

I might be in the minority, but I really don't like the Contemporary. The monorail going through it is fun, but it lacks the theming found across Disney property. The lobby looks like any other upscale hotel lobby from anywhere in Orlando. We do Disney because of the theming.

What are the best resorts to explore?

My husband and I go to a different Disney resort each month to "explore". We really loved the quaint feel of POFQ. As previous posters have noted, AKL is great, transforms you to a whole different place. And, Coronado Springs really makes you feel you are in the desert! You really can't go...

    City Micro Stroller??

We rented a City Micro from a stroller company (Simple Strollers) for friends visiting, and it was great. The wheels seemed smaller than other rental strollers I saw. I think they compare them on their website or you could email them and ask. (Please ignore typos, I post from my phone.)

Capones. Sleuths Mystery Dinner, or Outta Control Magic with Kids

Hi! I have a 5 year old and we have done Capone's. The show was cute, nothing over the top, the food was plentiful (Italian), quite decent for a buffet. We enjoyed it! I haven't done the other two shows you mentioned. But, last weekend we did the Pirate dinner show, and that truly kept her...

Does The Wave still have a breakfast buffet?

The buffet is delicious, and, it is surprisingly easy to get into. For small parties during breakfast, an ADR isn't generally needed. Wait times are not much longer than 10 minutes. Only on weekends, holidays, or large parties will you need an ADR. Enjoy!
