    Current Weather? Effects on MNSSHP

I completely agree with this advice! I used to watch the 10 day forecast before my Disney trips and I would always get nervous because rain was in the forecast, and it always turned out that the forecast was inaccurate and I had very little rain on my trips. I don't pay attention to the 10 day...

    Best sneakers for Disney World?????

I love Saucony sneakers. I have been wearing them to Disney since 2008. So comfortable and you can often find them at Marshall's for half the retail price.

    Restaurant suggestions please

If you are feeling somewhat adventurous, I recommend Jiko. The food is excellent and the AKL is beautiful and worth a walk around. If you are less adventurous when it comes to food but still want a great meal, I recommend Artist Point, Flying Fish and Bluezoo. Flying Fish is a fun evening...

    bluezoo?

I highly recommend Bluezoo. I did the chef's tasting menu there a couple years ago and consider it to be one of the top 5 best meals I have ever eaten - and I'm from New Orleans, a foodie city. I've been several times since then and it never disappoints. Bluezoo is pricey but well worth it in...

How many days for F&W Festival?

I'd do three days at F&W. While 2 days is technically enough time, I get way too full stuffing myself with everything I want to try over the course of only 2 days! Better to spread it out over 3 days. Also JaimeK had a good idea about going to other parks in the a.m. and hitting F&W in the evening.

    Question for female solo travelers

Btw I highly recommend the Magical Express! It makes travel logistics so easy and it's just one less thing to worry about on your trip. I always use ME on my solo trips. If you use ME, then you will not need a rental car which means you can stay out of parking lots, which should help you to feel...

    Question for female solo travelers

I have gone to Disney solo 5 times in the last 5 years and stayed at the Pop each time. I have never had a problem and have never felt unsafe. After park closing, I would go back to the hotel and sit with my feet in the pool and read a book until 11:30 or so. I always felt safe being outside the...

    The Animal Kingdom Debate

itchin2go must be my long lost twin because I absolutely recommend visiting the Animal Kingdom Lodge! It is just beautiful and the restaurant options are fantastic. I highly recommend Jiko, particularly the Taste of Africa appetizer. And the gift shop is great. I never stay at AKL bc it's far...

What was your favorite souvenir from your childhood trip(s)?

    1. A stuffed snake from Adventureland in 1987. He was blue with green trim and I kept him coiled around one of the posts of my four-poster bed. I don't even like snakes but I thought he was so cool and he kind of reminded me of Sir Hiss from Robin Hood. 2. A stuffed hippo in a ballerina costume...

    The Animal Kingdom Debate

I have done AK 4 times. Expedition Everest and Dinosaur were good rides, and It's Tough to Be Bug is a cute show. Flame Tree Barbecue is the best counter service meal I've had anywhere in WDW. The atmosphere and theming are beautiful. All of that being said, I'm afraid I fall into the "it's an...

    T-Rex BAD

I ate there in March 2011 and the food was awful. Like, shockingly bad. I sat at the bar and the service was fine. But the food was basically inedible. I have never understood why people like this place, aside from the dinosaur theming. I'm so sorry your meal was bad but I'm afraid I'm not...

    Ashamed to admit ...

Toy Story Mania. I'm not a huge fan of Hollywood Studios, so I never do a full day in that park. If I stop there, I usually go in the afternoon and by that time, the lines for TSM are insane, so I've never done it.

Which week of these 3 options...

Food & Wine Festival will be over before your travel dates so your crowd levels should be really good at that time in November. Have a great trip!

    Floridians please help

I'm from New Orleans which has a climate similar to Orlando's, and I've been to WDW in all months except April, July and August. September is going to be a bit hotter and more humid than June; however, I don't think the slight difference in the weather will ultimately make too much of a...

    Need Help Creating Magic

That golf ball comes at you so fast that I don't think they'll notice if the one you "catch" doesn't have a Mickey on it. I think your ideas for creating magic are great and hope your trip is magical!
