He and GF can each download WhatsApp and text that way as long as he has wifi. I live in Costa Rica and I use that to text my friends in Florida. If they both have iPhones they can text through Viber or Skype. All these apps work with wifi. hope that helps. :goodvibes

Phew! Thanks everyone for the input. I was getting a little nervous there. My husband and I had said if they couldn't get the early seating we would do later seating and use the kids club for our daughter. I was more concerned for my friend since her son is only 4. So lets hope for the best...
