    Blizzard Beach for young ones?

He there. We are planning on going to Blizzard Beach on our next trip. Is there a lot for children ages (8-12)? it looks like a lot of the slides are high and fast, DDs won't like that. Is the toboggan racer fun for kids this age? Do you have to take the chair lift to get up there for that? My...

Coronado Springs VS. Caribbean Beach.....and why??

I have stayed at both resorts and can say I love the Coronado much better that CBR! They are both large resorts, so a lot of walking but we have always enjoyed strolling around the resort, especially Coronado, it is nice and quiet and the lush landscaping is just beautiful. I find the main pool...

    Breakfast at Crystal Palace

We've had 8:05 before and walked into park at like 7:45am. Also, the park was still pretty empty after breakfast that we still got some amazing pics then too.

Crystal Palace - 8:05 AM or 8:15 AM breakfast

Last time we had an 8:05 reservation, we were pretty much the only ones in the restaurant for like 20 minutes. We had all the characters come to us within the first 20 minutes, and were back out in the park fast. It was great!

Souvenirs - the inexpensive hidden gems

My girls love these little tiny figurines that you can buy in any store in Disney. They are about 1-2" big and of all different characters. They come 4 in a little bag for about $4 and are usually in the stores by the registers. There are tons of them to collect. The only thing is you don't know...

    Anyone else disappointed with CSR?

We stayed in April and loved everything about it. Our Casitas room was great and we were upgraded to a lake view for free. We had breakfast at the Pepper Market and thought the food was good and our waitress attentive and friendly. Maybe it was the time of year you went there or something. But I...

Coronado Springs Resort - New Unofficial FAQ Thread - November 2012

I say grab your coffee from the Pepper Market to go and take a nice leisurely walk around the resort in the early am. We looked forward to doing that every morning on our last trip. Or you can grab one of the many benches around the grounds and sit and relax, watch the sun come up and enjoy the...

Coronado Springs Resort - New Unofficial FAQ Thread - November 2012

I would recommend Casita 4 or 5 buildings. We stayed there with our girls that are the same age and they loved it. We were a 3 minute walk to Pepper Market for breakfast every day, 3 minute walk to the bus stop and the Casitas 4 pool was great to have right by our room. Casitas is only a 6...

Coronado Springs Resort - New Unofficial FAQ Thread - November 2012

We just spent a week at CSR with our DDs, DD7 and DD9 and they loved it! They loved the playground, arcade, pyramid pool, and the Pepper Market. They have a small pool with fountains for little ones in the back patio of the pyramid pool.

    Going to Disney in May

You had better call soon to make some reservations for your May trip, or you will not get into some of the popular dining places. For your kids ages, I suggest Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace character meals. We also love Ohana, fabulous dinner food, breakfast there is a character meal as well. As...

Coronado Springs Resort - New Unofficial FAQ Thread - November 2012

I have a question about the CSR buses. How late do they run? If we are at dig site at night and want to take bus back to Casitas, what bus stop would we get on? Also, if we are staying in Casitas 4, the nearest bus stop is stop 2, right? if we get on bus in am to the parks, does that bus stop go...

Coronado Springs Resort - New Unofficial FAQ Thread - November 2012

I think most of the arcades on Disney resorts have the machines where you put in dollar bills (as much as you want) and you get a card with points on it to use for each video game. Each game takes a different amount of points.

    ADR in Sept- seriously??

I say make the ADRs and if you have to cancel, you can do so. While, September is a slow time of year, there are still thousands of people, many of whom will want to eat meals at the same time as you. Planning is always better. Try and plan just one table service meal per day, that way you...

Coronado Springs Resort - New Unofficial FAQ Thread - November 2012

Are the first floor rooms really noisy? We requested a first floor Casitas room for our May trip (We do not like having to use elevators). Also, does anyone know how likely CSR is in granting requests like this?
