I'd do November. Lighter crowds, cooler weather...prob cheaper. Also 4mo is easier to organize than 1 year imho. At 1 year they want to walk, need a bed or quiet space to nap and are more prone to tantrums. 4 Months in a carrier would be much easier, I think.
HI fellow August travelers! Ive made my ADRs...any opinions or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks lov2b, I think that's what we will do as well. ESP with my 3 year old and really hot weather, the monorail is very convenient. Perhaps we will do Values when they are older and want to do things like buy souvenirs. For now I can get away with bringing them from home.....thank goodness!
Thanks Megsie! I think I have settled on the Poly and we will ride over and check out the AoA while we are there to see what we think. I'm excited for our trip we've heard nothing but great things about the Poly.
Thanks MickeyNut and AliceIn, we will have one day w no parks so I'm leaning more towards the deluxe. The extra money I could save at the value is haunting me though. Agggh. Either way we'll be in Disney so I can't complain. ;)
Well, I've looked at renting points, however we are a military family and get a significant discount on rooms so it's more cost effective to get a room through Disney. Thanks for the feedback on AoA though. :)
Hi all! I am deciding between AoA and the Poly. We have only stayed at the CR and offsite. We loved the accessibility of the CR, however the AoA would save us $500 and the All Star Music would save us even more. We are a family of 5. Two adults and three kids age 10, 8 and 3.5. :) Our dates...
There was a dis unplugged podcast where a listener detailed some of what it required to be chosen as the family to open the park. It included arriving very early ( like 2 hours), greeting all passing CMs, having a 'unique look' and some other things he wouldn't name. Otherwise the perks of...
I didn't think about the rain cover. I figured I could use a poncho to cover the stroller...maybe Im wrong. Has anyone done this before? I'm still happy with the stroller deal though.
I'm renting one from apple scooters for the first time. We have a 3yo and figured the lightest weight stroller would serve us well for easy transport. I think we chose the city jogger from apple scooters. Have fun!
I haven't stayed at WLAN, however we have stayed at CR and it was worth it to us. We have younger kids who love MK and we stayed during peak season. Being able to walk to MK was worth the price of not having the bus aggravation. Also with 5 people in our family we wanted a room that was large...
We did this a couple of years ago and honestly it was not that bad. Definitely get touring plans and review them well before you leave. Make your ADRs early and plan, plan, plan. We were at every park at opening, left around lunch and came back in the evening. We are early birds and most people...
When we traveled we bought each ok the kids a camelback for water and filled it up at the hotel before we left. I purchased distilled water, by the gallon, to fill them. Also, my husband and I carried a camelback backpack that multi-purposed as a backpack and water source. Easier than fooling w...
