I promise doing the CP will only help you get the PI! Plus, arrange a meet n' greet with a retail manager while you are down here. On a day off, ask any merchandise cast member for their managers name. Look up the manager's phone number or e-mail address on the HUB. Send them an e-mail asking to...
I would go with non-wellness. It doesn't mean that you will get crazy party roommates just because everyone is over 21. In fact, I'd bet Wellness might be worse. Drinking still has that illicit vibe when you are under 21, which makes it more exciting. And you'd risk getting termed with partying...
I'm in the exact same boat. I arrive September 5th, and my Dad is getting married October 6th. I'm hoping a month is enough to request and get those days off. I'm working Custodial. Is it easy to give away those shifts?
Hi! My name is Kristen! I'm excited to meet all of you! I'm going to be custodial, and I'm super pumped.

This person is older than you, but I found her on the September 5th arrival date looking for roommates! May not be the right fit, but at least I thought I'd show you some non-traditional students out there planning on living in housing!

On this website would be a good place! Possibly the facebook pages. We don't have the option to select roommates yet anyway, so I'd be patient and just wait and see. Hopefully you can find someone you'll click with!
If you do decide to live in CP housing I would recommend finding a roommate ahead of time. There are several 30+ people who do the CP, and maybe that would make you feel more comfortable. You might have more in common then say with a 19 or 21 year old.
That's really exciting! Is it a lot more competitive for ICP's to become part of the program then? I really don't know anything about the process. What sort of roles can you apply for?
People are getting ahead of the curve. Actual roommate selection will happen later via the internet, and housemate selection wont happen until move-in day.

I have a lot. To be more specific I have 4 high interest, 4 moderate interest, 3 low interest, and the rest no interest. That's before QSFB... which will be either moderate or low. All the major cp roles have at least some interest with exception of MEO which I would hate. (Most of my no...
I have a question! I'm applying next week for Fall 12', and I'm trying to figure out what rank to give each role. My first choices would be Lifeguard or Custodial. However, the dreaded QSFB is worrying me. I really wouldn't mind working fast food, but it's not a top choice. My natural instinct...
I might apply for some of the animal programs! I am definitely applying for the Fall 2012 CP, and I'm planning to apply for the Spring 2013 Animal Programs. But I might go ahead and apply in the Fall too.... couldn't hurt! I just might need more experience before I'd get accepted.
One more question about lifeguards! What do you do in the off-season? Are the pools/waterparks open and staffed year round? If I went down in the Fall... August-January... when would the cut-off be?
I wanted a more active (possibly outside) job- like Housekeeping, Custodial, Lifeguard or Recreation. What are some other roles where you don't have to sit in one place all day? Do you recommend these jobs?
