So I understand that the vouchers will come with our pre-trip Mickey Mail, but I have a follow-up question for any knowledgable party. Are the vouchers dated? (E.g. "Only valid after..." Or "only valid through"?)
We are going to be at Universal for a few days before we transfer to WDW, but I...
I'm curious to see how the crowds are the first week of December as well, seeing as the hotels seem so booked-up. Touring Plans estimates that it has the lowest crowd levels of all of December, but that is of course subject to change. I expect the crowd calendar to be updated as we get closer...
So if I booked before the ticket price hike, but call to add a free dining or room only discount without changing any other aspect of the reservation (resort, room type, dates, number of guests, etc.), will I end up paying the higher ticket price?
I'm with you -- go for the package if you really want to see CP. We went in early December in 2010 and 2011, and both times were scared off by the long stand-by lines. When we go in the future, I'm just going to avoid the stress and hassle and get the dinner package. It's a lot better to have...
Just reiterating what others have said based on my own experience -- for the bigger stars, or closer to Christmas, you should really book the package if you want to see the processional. It is not money wasted, particularly if seeing the show is important to you.

I would say Epcot. It's the only park that you really do need two days to explore, particularly if you like to meander around World Showcase before taking in Illuminations (which would be perfect for an easy first night!).
MK could take a couple of days too, but, like the others have said...
Yes!!!
Let the child know that if anyone has a problem with them because of who they are, then they have an even BIGGER problem with you.
The notion that a child--or anyone--should change (or "tone down") who they are because someone else has a problem with it is truly a terrible message...
Michael Eisner's favorite resort to stay at was reportedly the Yacht Club. Which is not surprising, as he's something of a preppie.
John Lennon signed the legal paperwork that dissolved the Beatles whilst staying at the Polynesian.
I was looking at booking a stay at POFQ from 12/11/2011 to 12/17/2011 using the free dining promo. I understand from researching that Disney only allocates a certain number of rooms for promotions like the free dining promo, and when I check availability at the resort for that time it currently...
