DisneyWorld at Christmas - will I survive?

We've been during Christmas week starting Christmas day through New Years Day. Crowds are the heaviest during Christmas week. However, if you have a plan and try to stick to it, you'll be just fine. Just expect big crowds. It's a great time to be at Disney. It's so festive and everyone is happy...

    First week of Oct. crowds

We're going on Columbus Day weekend and I expect it to be quite busy. We typically make that particular weekend one of our times to visit since our son is out for Columbus Day. it's busy but doable with a plan. I'd rather be at Disney when it's busy rather than not at all so we brave the crowds...

    Jersey Week Nov 2016

We are planning on going November 10th-14th for a short trip to celebrate DH 40th Birthday. We typically go in September or October because we try to always do a Halloween party. We really enjoy Halloween at Disney. We live in Pensacola so we don't have to be too too picky when we go. We were...

    "Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

We've been to a few of the MNSSHP and all were sold out but not nearly as crowded or hard to get onto a ride as a normal park day. We've made it a tradition to go each year! It's well worth the money.

    Our President's week trip report!

Hello friends! I just wanted to report on our recent visit this past week. We were there February 18th-February 22nd. If anyone out there is interested in knowing what it's like during President's week, here's my take.....There was a lot of talk before we left on here and a lot of other places...

    Presidents Weekend

If you know how busy it is during Christmas season, then President's week is a breeze. Disney is always busy and crowded no matter when you go and we've been during most months, seasons, holidays, etc.. We are going during President's week this year and we're not at all concerned about crowd...

    Presidents week or Easter week

We are headed to Disney for President's week this year and I'm not too concerned about crowds. Even with Mardi Gras and the Daytona 500 being the same week. For starters, most race fans will be in Daytona all week for pre-race activities and visit Disney afterwards and Mardi Gras isn't that big...

Which week is worse for crowds?

I see that a lot of folks seem to think that race fans will make Disney somewhat busier due to the fact that the Daytona 500 is the same week of President's Day. As a race fan, I can only see the race in Daytona making Disney world busy AFTER the Daytona 500 since the race falls the weekend...

FP+ is now completely worthless if you are staying offsite.

FP+ seems to get mixed reviews...My family and I hardly ever use FP anyway but even if we did, I wouldn't let it make or break our trips to Disney. Disney is always busy but if you plan accordingly then it shouldn't be that bad. It's a magical place and I think people get too caught up in the...

    MNSSHP Dates - 2015?

MNSSHP never has dates in August...bummer, I know! ...However, you can look at previous years party days and it will tell you what days they typically have them. They don't vary much from year to year. Congratulations on your engagement and good luck! :)

    Going President's Week

I appreciate all of the information...Thank you all so much. I have read mixed reviews/opinions/etc. about going Presidents week/Mardi Gras/ Marathon/ Daytona 500 everywhere including here.....With that in mind, let me say I have NEVER been to Disney when it wasn't VERY crowded. We have endured...

    Going President's Week

My family is planning a trip this upcoming President's week (2015). We are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary on the 20th of February. We will be there smack in the middle of President's Day week. We've been during Christmas so we know how busy it can be. For those of you who have been...

We were there Friday too...It seemed a bit more crowded to me than last year. We missed getting to ride BTMRR. It was down for a long time. Had a blast though!

    MNSSHP Trip report

Thanks everyone! ...Im still learning on here so sorry for the late reply. Glad my report is helpful/wanted! ....Our family tries to make it to Disney about once a year. Sometimes its less depending on work and school schedules and depending on current funds. But I do believe the Halloween Party...

    MNSSHP Trip report

Our family just got back from the Halloween Party on 9-27-13. This was our second halloween party and I must say that it seemed a bit more crowded than last year. It was sold out (as well as last year) but for some reason, this party seemed particularly more crowded. However, it was still far...
