The strangest thing you have ever seen a character do?

In September, during Magical Beginnings, our DDs were with a group of preschoolers were playing dodgeball with the Peter Pan characters. One little boy threw the ball to Captain Hook and it hit him in, ahem, his privates. Captain Hook, obviously a guy, instantly doubled over and grabbed his...

When do Airline prices go down?

Wow you got a great price! We're from Idaho, so the lowest I have ever seen is around $225 incl. taxes. Yesterday when I looked, there were many fares around $237, but we weren't sure of our dates yet. So this morning when I saw the 1 last low fare left, I booked it! The flights weren't at...

When do Airline prices go down?

Yesterday, we booked DVC for January 20-27. I looked at flight prices, but didn't book yet because we were trying to decide when to arrive, when to leave, vacation schedules, etc. This morning, I try to book flights and all the prices have gone up! I assume this must be due to Christmas...

    Help ASAP...Ordering From Staples

We're arriving the 23rd at OKW and I just ordered water from Staples last night. They'll have to hold it for us because it looks like it will be there tomorrow! I could have waited to order, but the website did give 1- 7 days for shipping!

    MNSSHP Question (m)

We fly into Orlando at 5 pm on the night we do the MNSSHP. We have unactivated APs. Should we have them activated that night or wait until the next day?

    Dining plan length question

Thanks HaleyB! Looks like I was writing my post before I read yours! Would we have to physically show up at OKW at 7 am to check in? That might not work for us where we have the Storybook breakfast that morning I knew we would be paying for some OOP meals, so that'll be fine. Thanks!

    Dining plan length question

I just read a little of the FAQ and may have answered my own questions. Does this sound right? Once we check into OKW the DDP starts and we can start using it that evening at Ohana's (so we will be OOP for Storybook Breakfast). Since we check out of OKW on Sat we have until midnite to use our...

    Dining plan length question

We are staying at OKW for 7 days, but we have an extra couple days on our trip. We fly in on a Friday night just in time for MNSSHP and stay at the CR that night. The next afternoon we check into OKW and stay until Sat morning. Then that afternoon we stay again at CR and fly out the next...

    Southwest and Frequent Fliers

We are new to frequent flying and are hoping to have enough miles saved by next year to use for next years trip. How does it work with Southwest? I'm assuming that if we purchase a ticket using miles, and the price of the fare goes down, we would not get a credit for rebooking at a lower...

Are we eligible for the dining plan?

Yes, it was through II. We just changed our plans from October to September because this exchange came up. We had already purchased airline tickets for the four of us for October, but decided it was cheaper to pay $200 in change ticket fees and rebook the flights than to spend $1500 + to stay...

Are we eligible for the dining plan?

We just booked for September into DVC. We aren't DVC members, we traded into it through our timeshare exchange company. We already have some ADRs, but might try to add more if we sign up for the dining!

    Do we need car seats?

Thank you! Thank you! DH is going to be on cloud nine not hauling three car seats all over the airports!

    Do we need car seats?

We are flying, staying onsite, not renting a car and using Magical Express. Our kids are 7, 4 and 1 and we use booster and car seats here at home. On the plane, the baby does not have his own seat and I think the 7 and 4 year olds can get by without car seats on the plane. This is the first...

    Occupancy question (m)

We have 3 children, the youngest is 1 1/2 years. I know according to Disney, we are actually counted as a family of 4 since the youngest is less than 3, so we would only need 1 room at a resort. Are the rules the same for DVC? Do we qualify for a 1 bedroom that sleeps 4 or would we need a 2...

What has been your best resort discount?

Our best was our first trip to Disney in 2002 and stayed at the Poly for $99 a night! We're going in October and I have no idea where we're staying yet!

Do I need a minivan or can I get by with an SUV?

The rate we got with National for a minivan was around $380 for 10 days - not terrible, but our Alamo SUV reservation is a full $100 cheaper! The biggest problem with our rates is we're there during New Years, so nothing is cheap!

Do I need a minivan or can I get by with an SUV?

We need a vehicle large enough to transport Dh and I, our 3 children, and our luggage. We drive a full size car here at home and can fit all three car seats in the back seat, but we need a larger vehicle at DW to fit all our luggage and our double stroller! Dh would like a minivan and I have a...

    Thrifty upgrade question (m)

This is our 3rd DW trip and previously we have used Dollar and National and been happy. But I can't seem to get good rates yet for our trip in January through those two. I went to the Thrifty website and used the code AU02 for our 10 day trip and got a rate of $138 - about $200-$300 cheaper...

How many people to a room for a value resort?

Thanks so much! I wanted to find out what Disney allowed before making any plans!

How many people to a room for a value resort?

We just need a couple nights somewhere as we are staying in a timeshare for most of our trip. Our party is just my husband and myself, 5 year old, 2 year old and a 2 month old baby. Will a value resort accomodate us all in one room? Our kids are too young to stay in a room by themselves, so I...
